I stayed here for a night. I'd booked premium room with an objective to get a mini fridge in the room. Due to some goof up, I was given deluxe room. Though the boy at the counter was not willing to address my issue, the manager acknowledged the mistake and handled the situation by arranging a mini fridge in my room. The room was neat and clean. It's small, but definitely, matching the price that you pay. Toiletries are limited. Customer service is excellent. There were multiple mess ups by their team during my entire stay, but, somehow, they handled the situation due to their excellent customer service. Food is tasteless. I don't recommend eating at the restaurant on the top floor but munching from the Pandhal cafe, which is attached to the hotel. Buffet breakfast has a small list of items in the menu. However, I find it acceptable wrt the hotel room charges. One serious complaint is that the start time of buffet breakfast as per the management is 8am. The schedule is inconvenient time for business travelers. Buffet should have started earlier. However, to my surprise, when I went at 8am, only one item (chicken sausage) was ready to be served. The hotel staff were serving apologies instead of food. Food got ready at 8:20am. A few people ***** with me including German and Japanese guests were waiting for food. This is completely unacceptable. The hotel attracts international tourists and people serving foreigners should understand that 8am is 8am for people from outside the Indian subcontinent. Even a minute's delay is considered as a serious delay. Such an approach shows us Indians in poor light before others. I ordered an omelet and it was filled with green chilies. I had to remove the green chilies to be able to eat the omelet. I understand that people in Kerala eat a lot of chili. But hotels don't just serve local population. They should be sensitive towards such matter. Finally, if you ask me whether I will stay there again, the answer is Yes. I now understand that it's a pretty average hotel and the quality of the hotel does not match the excellent reviews written online. I will set expectations accordingly and plan my stay there. To summarize, it's a no-frills hotel with clean room and average food. One comment to the hotel staff - sweet talk can never compensate for quality in service.

The staff was very pleasant and cordial. The room was very cozy and neat. Well maintained and hygienic washroom. The reception staff were very nice and supportive.
