Absolutely amazing place ! The most genuine welcome I have ever received from a hotel. The staff, and that’s everyone from reception, restaurant, bar staff, housekeepers, kitchen team and maintenance team made a point of speaking to the guests and smiling all the time no matter how many times they saw you during the day. Bedrooms are amazing, food was very good and varied every day with lots of items cooked to order ie steaks, seafood or omelettes for breakfast, with a mixture of local and international food to suit all tastes. The hotel is absolutely spotlessly clean, the swimming pool is sparkling with comfortable loungers that are spacious and you never feel crowded. The hotel is blessed with an exceptional team who seamlessly flow from one language to another speaking to the guests. We celebrated our anniversary with a complimentary bottom of champagne in the mini bar on arrival, our room had a balcony overlooking the sea and sitting watching the horses on the beach, or sunset at the end of the day has been truly magical. The Malibu Cafe next to the hotel offers really good food a short walk from the hotel and overlooking the beach. We hired a car for a few days to explore the island and the price was extremely reasonable, plus you get a discount through the hotel, they arranged a taxi to take us to pick up the car and then again to return when we dropped it off. Car parking on site was immediately arranged. Nothing is too much for the hotel, and everything is within a short walk, drive or bus away. Thank you, for looking after us, we will definitely see you again.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Santo Thomas hotel in Menorca this October, and it was an unforgettable experience. Having visited this resort many times in the 1980s, we always admired this beautiful hotel but could only afford to stay at the Sol Hotel next door. This year, we were looking for a relaxing break and managed to book a room at the Santo Thomas hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a wonderful receptionist who gave us such a warm welcome. Despite booking late, the receptionist informed us of an available room upgrade, and we immediately said yes upon seeing it. The suite was spacious, but the best part was the stunning view. The food at the hotel was amazing, with plenty of choices for everyone. All the staff were friendly and did their utmost to look after all guests. The pool area was excellent, with plenty of beds and a lovely beach bar, even though we didn't spend much time there. Every area of the hotel was spotlessly clean. We can't recommend the Santo Thomas hotel highly enough and will definitely be returning next year, for a longer stay this time.

A very well run hotel with all of the staff always ready to help and always with a smile. Alex on the reception desk helped us hire a car and electric mobility buggy which we took around in the boot of car then charged overnight at hotel. We stayed half board and the selection of food, both at breakfast and in the evening was very good, much of it cooked to your desire while you watch. My own favourite was pork cheek which I had on 3 days, and I will try to find in UK.

Have just spent an exceptional week at the hotel. Travelled with Jet2 but upgraded at extra cost to a Master room which was worth every pound, lovely sea view. It started with Alex meeting us off the transfer, taking our cases and making us so welcome explaining everything that we needed to know. The restaurant could not be faulted, Joanna and her staff were first class particularly Mohammed and Gala who looked after us each night. The buffet was the best we have experienced in quality and choice. My wife had a birthday during out stay and we had a lovely surprise of a bottle of Cava put in the room. My wife really enjoyed the indoor swimming pool. The location was first class and the food at the Malibu which we sampled on our arrival was lovely. The domestic staff did an excellent job servicing the room. We will definitely be returning.

This hotel is fabulous. All aspects are wonderful from the hotel itself, to the staff (Alex and Mafe in Reception, Joanna and Mineta in the restaurant to name just those few, but all staff are equally good) the food, the grounds .... everything made the holiday just perfect. I can't find anything to complain about with this hotel and have no hesitation in recommending it to everyone thinking of staying here. Go - you wont be disappointed. However there is a BUT !!! Nothing to do with the hotel but we discovered once there that no local facilities open until the 1st May !!! No local buses, shops, cafes and no car hire available, so we were unable to get out and explore, except for one day when we paid 75 euros for a return trip to Ciutadella by taxi which was worth the expense but meant that we didn't venture out again. Jet 2 very remiss in failing to highlight this fact. So very much a case of "let the buyer beware" so do check before you travel if you are wanting local facilities. BUT this hotel made up for it. I repeat - its fabulous.

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at this establishment. The welcome was warm, and I truly appreciated the special attention for my birthday. The taxi booking service was excellent as well. Thank you Avelina — we’ll definitely be back ! Victor & Rachel
