The hotel was a bit pricey considering the facilities as it was during an international conference. It was disappointing that they were doing road paving work in front of the hotel and the breakfast was repetitive.

There was a road under construction near the hotel. I drove there at night and followed Google Maps for many times but couldn't find the way. It was very unfriendly. I parked the car at the train station next to it and walked there. There is an IKEA store and McDonald's near the hotel.

Clean and tidy, convenient transportation, next to the station, in front of the pedestrian street and Essen University, shopping and food are great, but the room is a bit small. Breakfast is average, 12 euros is a bit expensive.

The price is very cheap in the whole of Europe.
The room is very clean. Although it is close to the train station, the neighborhood is very clean. The service attitude of the hotel's front desk guy is very good. But the space of the room is not too big, and the bathroom is relatively small.
