We booked for 4 nights in invierno so it rained 95% of the time. This hotel is dated but clean and lovely with a colonial design as it is 60 years old beautiful because it is right on the beach. Service is excellent. Food is hit and miss. Breakfast were acceptable although we have to ask for butter. We had wonderful supper one evening however the evening before we left we came out for supper only to discover that the restaurant was closed. We had ordered wings and ceviche and although the wings were scarce there were lots of cucumber and carrot sticks. The ceviche had more onions and red peppers than fish. If you go in the rainy season the floors are extremely slippery due to the humidity.

The internet is trash the food is overloaded with spices there was no water pls do not come here its all very messyMy stay at the hotel in Inbejuco was nothing short of disappointing. From start to finish, the experience was marred by numerous issues that significantly impacted my stay. Firstly, the internet connection was abysmal. Despite promises of WiFi availability, the reality was constant frustration with slow speeds and frequent outages. This made it nearly impossible to stay connected for work or even simple tasks like checking emails or browsing the web. The accommodations themselves were lackluster and poorly maintained. The room I was assigned had outdated furnishings, uncomfortable bedding, and an overall dingy feel. The cleanliness left much to be desired, with visible dust and dirt in corners and on surfaces. The dining experience was equally disappointing. While the hotel boasted about its local cuisine, the reality was far from appetizing. The food was overly spicy to the point of being inedible for someone with a sensitive palate. Attempts to request milder options were met with confusion or indifference from the staff. To add to the frustration, there were issues with basic amenities such as water. There were times when water supply was erratic, with periods of low pressure or complete lack of hot water for showers. This made basic hygiene and comfort a challenge during my stay. Overall, my impression of this hotel in Inbejuco is overwhelmingly negative. From subpar accommodations and unreliable internet to unappetizing food and inconsistent water supply, it failed to meet even the most basic expectations of a comfortable stay. I would strongly advise against staying here until significant improvements are made across all aspects of the guest experience.

Horrible dinning experience, we were scammed, They charged 90 USD for a crappy special without telling us the price (this was 5 times as much as anything else on the menu). When questioned they did nothing and told us it was our problem. Food was HORRIBLE! All of the meat was way over cooked (we requested medium rare and it was well well done) Service was HORRIBLE! Do not eat or stay here! PLEASE

I came here to eat with my family because it was recommended to us. We were very disappointed with how the food was prepared and charged $80 USD for a poorly cooked steak "on special". When I questioned the waiter about the price, he replied " I just work here." I feel robbed!

So, I want to start by saying we didn’t stay in the hotel. We stopped by to eat in the restaurant, as it was recommended to us. Both meat dishes we had, the ribs, and the Steak with Gorgonzola shrimp were way overdone, almost to the point of being inedible. The pasta and salad were passable. Now here’s where the frustration really starts. The Steak dish was introduced as the first special, and we didn’t ask the price. We paid the bill and after doing the conversion in our heads, we felt something wasn’t right. After going back, it turned out the steak was 40000 calones, which was more than 4X the price of the most expensive thing on the menu. This one, poorly cooked item ended up almost doubling the total bill. The waiter stated -“ I just work here” and held his ground. Anyways, in summary, food not good and ripped off by staff, 80 US for a poorly cooked steak and four shrimps. You decide.

Beautiful little gem that’s off the beaten path. The hotel staff was quite friendly and accommodating to our needs. Coffee was always fresh and the food was delightful. The main lobby provides an open air environment with private beach access less than 100’ from main entrance. The pool area is well manicured and offered plenty of seating. Rooms were clean and cool with amazing balcony views of the pacific. Hotel Delfin was a little slice of heaven well worth returning to.

Great location, great service, nice pool, nice restaurant and bar. Note that the rooms themselves are typical Costa Rican and not super luxury. This is a Costa Rican "local" experience, not a high-end gringo experience. But we had a great time thanks to the good food and service.

The staff is great. The rooms are good. Beach views in every room. WiFi is a little sporadic, but works. Reasonably priced in all areas. No need to go anywhere else for breakfast or dinner. Welcomes dogs, has a shower outside and is very close to the beach.
