This hotel is far from the 4 stars it presents. Maybe 20 years ago they were there, but today it has the old facilities, the room was clean but very worn out. Even the floorboards, even the worn bathroom tiles.

Very warm welcome by the hostess, arriving at night. Room with terrace, comfortable bedding. aging decor. Very good breakfast, with very fresh products, excellent coffee. Service staff, very available. Perfect room service. Covered parking included in the reservation. Restaurant in the park is to do. Portuguese specialty or other. Very attentive staff, homemade aperitif, fish and small vegetable dish, pizza, glass of red wine. Meals with fresh produce and a hearty plate.

We had already experienced a stay at this hotel 20 years ago, which was very satisfactory and extremely relaxing. The facilities were also in good condition. Unfortunately, little has changed since our last visit two decades ago. The towels that we had used 20 years ago were still in use and showed obvious signs of wear, even the edges were unraveling. When we arrived, we were immediately advised to use the pool towels more often, which seemed a bit strange to us. Nevertheless, after four days we put the room towels on the floor in the hope that they would be replaced. Unfortunately, this did not happen. Another point that disappointed us. In addition, a new road has been built in front of the rooms, which gave us the impression that the vehicles were driving right through our room. Especially between 1 and 4 a.m. there were many young people on loud motorbikes and cars without silencers, which led to sleepless nights. The next morning we even discovered circles drawn by the rear wheels of the vehicles. An important tip when choosing a hotel: always make sure that there is no road in front of the hotel, even if it offers a sea view.
