The hotel is in a good location. Easy check-in with friendly staff.
Breakfast costs 10 euros extra. It is continental and good as such, but the coffee was unfortunately a bit too low quality for my taste.
The room was spotless and about what you would expect from a hotel in this price range, except for a stain on the bedspread. A small stain is not a problem, but not very aesthetically pleasing to the viewer.
The shower head was directed straight out of the wall, so it sprayed to the side, not downwards. So you have to hold the shower with your hand, not entirely practical.
The room was on the fifth floor facing the street, where there is a lot of traffic and noise. Since heat rises upwards, the room was very hot, even though it was cool outside. Therefore the window had to be open for ventilation. The result was a very hot room with noise from the street outside.
There was also noise from the corridor, as the heavy and beautiful doors to the rooms close with a bang when you let go of them. It's a shame that the hotel, which is otherwise nice, didn't notice this design mistake.
The room only had one (double) electrical outlet, so if you have several things that need to be charged: bring a power strip.
One of the beds lacked a bedside lamp so I had to read by the light of the ceiling lamp.
Apart from these small details, the hotel was quite ok for its price range.
