"The service is not good, the staff is very impatient.
The lobby and other public areas are closed at 11 o'clock, and friends are not allowed to use them even if they need to make a conference call, so the telephones in the corridor and the room will affect other guests.
The heating is not turned on at night, and it is not turned on after complaints.
The English breakfast set is OK. The restaurant also closes on time at 9:30."

"Value for money indeed. Never expect such a spacious and well-refurbished room at such an amazing price. Would recommend it to anyone who visit Exeter since it’s located exactly at the city centre and within 10 or 15 minutes walk from both railway stations."
"The hotel is located close to the city, very convenient, the service staff is very friendly, the breakfast is rich and delicious, the staff are very hard to entertain, walking to the Central train station is very close"
"Stayed here for one night in August. Was really impressed with the Telstar. Staff were lovely and very welcoming. Room was cosy (I had a single room) and had everything I needed. Breakfast was great and fab location in town for Exeter St David’s or Exeter Central station. Will definitely stay again when passing through!"
"Behind it is David Church and a small tombstone. It is indeed a bit scary to arrive at night, but I participated in church activities during the day and understood the local culture. I also felt very interesting. I will pass through the cemetery in order to take a shortcut in the next few days."

Great
MMark GBRA last minute booking as we were passing through Exeter visiting family. The room was decent with a comfy bed. There was a little noise from the courtyard outside playing music at night which stopped about 10pm. No issue. Great central location and a relaxed night. No complimentary toiletries 🧴not even a toothbrush 🪥- which is just a pain to have to go and buy them. I asked at reception and he just shook his head. 🤷♂️99% of hotels we stay at have them - seems a little tight 🤣 - anyway no issues with the room or location so we’d stay here again if needed. 👍
AAndrewStaff was friendly and polite
The room was fantastic
Accept I could not use the restaurant I ended having a take away to the hotel
Normally I eat in the hotel restaurant
Breakfast was good
GGuest UserWe found our stay at this hotel very convenient. It was just off the M5 motorway and it was like a separate apartment where we could park right outside our hotel room which was all ground level., The room was clean and tidy had a TV and comfortable beds with extra pillows and the heating.,
They had extra toilets in the foyer and the breakfast included was really top-notch for the price.
GGuest UserI loved where the hotel is located, very central, we could visit everything on foot, as we wanted. The staff is friendly, but the cleaning of the room we stayed in was very bad, the carpet in the room was very dirty and dusty, the windows were so dirty that there were dead flies on the windowsill. Apart from the poor cleaning, (something very important to us), the environment is good.
GGuest UserAll staff excellent only issue we had was travel cot - the mattress was so worn out and they obviously realised this as had been padded with towels and a large sheet all of which made it very susceptible to SIDS - we asked for a duvet to help pad it which helped and made sure tucked in securely but maybe invest in new bases. Apart from that majority of staff couldn’t have been more helpful
SSuzanne MarieThe location of this hotel is excellent! Lovely, quiet area and close to the cathedral and high street. The room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed and the best pillows I’ve experienced in all my travels. The room had a kettle for tea and coffee and a hair dryer. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. If you choose to have breakfast out, try the Cosy Club next door for a quirky atmosphere and delicious food!
SSan NaikAs usual with my frequent visit to this area I find Woodbury Park hotel has been my preferred place to stay. Staff are lovely kind and helpful. It’s a beautiful hotel satin a very picturesque location surrounded by pleasant scenery. Hotels and rooms are very clean and well attended to. Restaurant services are clean and impeccable. Credit goes to the chefs and the team who managed the service. I have had a pleasant breakfast service during my stay at Woodbury. I hope the staff and the team at Woodbury keep up the good work and encourage us to use them during my future trips to the area.
