We decided to stay overnight after having a wonderful day at Chatsworth House. The hotels in that are were priced ridiculously. So we booked the Miners Arms in Eyam, what a hidden Gem. The room was a nice size and very clean, I accept it’s not as posh as the Cavendish in Baslow, but you are only paying a third of the price. The meal was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

We went here for a meal while staying in Eyam. It was a lovely clean place, with friendly staff. The food was amazing! Well presented, hot and plenty of it. We both had pan fried chicken with new potatoes and veg, all cooked to perfection. For dessert my wife had home made bread and butter pudding with custard she said it was beautiful! I had lemon drizzle cheesecake with ice cream which was also beautiful and a very generous portion. I would highly recommend this place. 5 star.

My friend & I stated here as was going to peak cavern for an event. Lovely twin room ( 5) clean tea coffee etc , fan bathroom big , we had a meal at night was nice & breakfast too . Free car park at the back .would definitely recommend to friends & family

Lovely stay for 2 nights as a couple. Friendly service, clean room, and good English breakfast (late breakfast times didn’t bother us). Shower wasn’t very easy to use but we got it working in the end. Very convenient staying in the centre of Eyam

A meal thoroughly enjoyed by all of our family. The Miners is our local, we’ve enjoyed many a drink, bar meal or meal in the garden. Tonight was the first night we have dined with a larger group of family, a baby and 3 dogs and sat in the restaurant. They squeezed us into their bookings last minute. The welcome, the service, the food was perfect. Faultless. The girls behind the bar and waiting on worked so hard. 5* couldn’t recommend enough

The staff were very attentive and the food was excellent. But I have rated it as average because of our room. We stayed in room 2 at the back. Unfortunately it overlooks the smoking area. The first night it was noisy until 11pm but that was ok. However, the next night, a large group stayed there from 9 until midnight and then I assume 2 staff, talked out there until 1am. The window is broken and doesn't shut. So impossible to sleep. The next night was quiet as it was raining. The water in the bathroom was scalding, so children would need to be supervised, and no shower. But lovely and clean, beds made every day and tea/coffee/biscuits replenished. The noise spoilt it for us but it is a lovely pub and worth going just for the food.

5*. Service and food. Delicious Sunday carvery. One of the best I've eaten. Very clued up on peanut allergy and checked food order to ensure no peanuts. Very impressed. A very enjoyable time and highly recommend. Unfortunately we were too full to sample the puddings.

£100. Including breakfast in a very pretty village. We have just returned from a 1 night stay. We had room 7 (cottage next door) and very pleasantly surprised. Had out own front room, room clean, towels, loads of tea and coffee and some sweets on the bed! The bathroom is very dated, and shower was one of those that you have to hold. But it's £100 and breakfast, so for that reason, it's 5 stars for me. If they did the bathroom, they could easily charge £130 - £150 a night! Breakfast was lovely and all the staff were really lovely. We would definitely stay again, but we certainly request room 7!
