Resort Hadera by Jacob Hotels

Horrific experience. No parking as advertised, ending up getting 2 parket tickets. Room whilst spacious was dimly lit and the air conditioning was aloud as a Jet Engine. Food was prison food.

I usually prefer to write positive reviews of hotels and keep my mouth shut when I have a bad experience - but after spending 3 nights at the Jacob Resort Hadera I felt the need to warm everyone thinking of booking.. My partner and I travelled from Australia and booked a four stay as we have family nearby. Positives : The hotel itself is in a relatively convenient location and all rooms offer views over the beautiful Mediterranean (if you stand on the balcony itself as the windows are so filthy, you can’t see out of them.) The gym has a good range of weights. Sadly, that’s really weird the positives end.. Negatives: Where do I start.. • the Hotel charges and astronomical amount in the middle of a summer season, however decided to close their outdoor pool.. we were not made aware of this until after we had booked and paid for the room. There is an indoor pool, however it is is incredibly old and dirty. It reminds me of a Soviet era spa full of old people bobbing around.. it looks like somewhere you would get a rather nasty skin infection. •the lobby stinks of chlorine and is the ONLY place you will get wifi. There is a problem with the Wi-Fi on all of the hotel room floors and we were told by reception that no one has Wi-Fi. The problem would not be fixed and there was nothing they could do about it.. great service! • the biggest issue we have with the hotel is that the rooms are FILTHY!! whilst they may look tidy as there are clean sheets on the bed, I don’t think the floors have ever been vacuumed or mopped which is a pretty big issue considering it is a beachside hotel. The amount of sand, dirt, grime in the rooms is outrageous. • the air-conditioning is like a Boeing 747 that has a constant loud motor noise when turned on and makes it fairly difficult to sleep even for a deep sleeper like myself with earplugs in. • the empty bar fridge is at least 15 years old and makes a funny noise whilst turned on. We ended up having to unplug it and go without cold drinks so we could sleep. • the breakfast is quite varied however the staff are pretty rude • the hotel is a kosher hotel and therefore gets a large number of orthodox and very religious people staying. For a foreigner from a western country, be ready and prepared to be shoved and cut in front of when ordering coffees, checking in, getting coffee or even getting into the lift. It’s like staying in a zoo. When booking this hotel there was limited options as it was the summer period however given the amount of money that is being asked of, the experience you will have with the other guests and the lack of cleanliness and upkeep – next time we will simply book a hotel in Northern Tel Aviv and spend 30 minutes each way in the car to avoid a nightmare stay like this. Do yourself and your family a favour and stay somewhere else.

Very comfortable suite, wide comfortable double bed. Lovely view of the sea from the windows and the verandah. Dining Table and chairs in the suite. The room looked a little shabby, but it was very quiet despite the number of people in the hotel. There was no coffee machine but there was a big kettle and roomy fridge. The elevators were fast and efficient. There was a wide choice of food for breakfast. Coffee was great. There was no freshly squeezed juice, or goats cheese or goats yogurt. It wasn't gourmet but there was plenty to choose from an open buffet. The dining room was full at breakfast time, and a little too noisy for us. On the other hand, the staff were kind and friendly. Free parking about five minutes walk away Lovely easily accessible beach. Fitness room, Indoor swimming pool and showers all spotlessly clean . We were sorry that we didn't have time for a swim in the pool. There is a very nice shopping center about five minutes drive from the hotel. We will definitely come again to this hotel.

There is a heated pool even in the late evening, which greatly enhances the vacation and makes it very fun..!! We would like to express our gratitude to Orly, the hotel's guest relations manager, who ensured warm treatment and exceptional service.

This hotel is a gem, situated right on the seafront in a very nice new area of Hadera. We saw amazing sunsets from our suite, and it was almost as if the sea was right below our room! The staff are welcoming and there is very nice atmosphere. Breakfast is excellent, great breads, plentiful choice of salads very aesthetically displayed, we took half-board and thoroughly enjoyed dinners. We took a walk on the beaches and promenade, the Mul HaHof Village shopping mall is just 2 km away with excellent choice of shops and eating places. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for a short and enjoyable vacation.

Great beach view. Staff was nice and israeli breakfast was good.

Cleaning staff left the door to our room opened. After telling the manager about it, they changed the lock and we couldn’t enter the room.

Jacob’s Hotel is the whole package I was surprised with a killer view from my balcony, clean,comfortable bed and yummy top-coffee, a friendly crew,and and near to many attractions. They made me feel right at home. Hadera’s beachy gem has my heart, and I’m already dreaming of my next visit. 🌊☕😎🇮🇱
