Quality Inn & Suites Winter Park Village Area

There are about 225 rooms. The HAD one ice machine for all those rooms. However it broke and the staff didn't think they would replace it. After checking in to get to the elevator, or even the 1st floor rooms there is a long ramp. There are two luggage carts (remember 225 rooms) in very poor condition to get your luggage to the first floor. There are two elevators. Today one was out of service. Free breakfast? Forget about it. There were some slimy looking hardboiled eggs, a few muffins, and toast. No yogurt. A few apples. Butter, but only strawberry cream cheese (strawberry? Have you ever tried strawberry cream cheese? The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked fine. The bathroom was a disgrace; the toilet lid comes off. I could go on but what's the point. Cheap, yes, and that's it.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! Absolutely horrible disgusting place. Hotel also charged a $100 cleaning fee but couldnt provide any pictures or details. Will never use this hotel for business again and told all our fellow companies we are working with to pull their rooms if they are staying there. Should have done my research first

We stayed for 4 nights. The worst Quality Inn ever!!! The first night we complained about the smell of POT. They said they would call security. We had requested a NON-smoking room. The entire room smelled like we were the ones smoking. The bathroom had bugs coming down the wall, the carpet wasn't vacuumed - it was sticky and had hair stuck to my feet when i got into bed. Each night was the same. When we left, the elevator had a cup with coffee all over the floor. Garbage was lefty on the ledges of hallway and when i went to grab a cup of coffee to go, it was empty. I complained again when we left and she said she'd let the assist mgr. know and we might get a call if they decide to do something to reimburse us. We got NO CALL! The entire hotel had a stink about it. Don't book a stay here, you will be very disappointed.

The canceled my reservation even though I did the pay at hotel option when booking This means you pay when you arrive ( additional fee for this option) 3 days before the wanted to charge my card, the was unsuccessful and cancelled my reservation Leaving us on the street The area isn’t all that appealing It’s not easy to access from the street The hotel itself seemed to be in fair condition

I book with Choice Hotels because they usually have good rooms; not this time- I switched from room 516 to room 526 (both were bad). AVOID this location, please. Here's why: It is outdated (no USB outlets and the elevators run very slowly), smells of mold (there is apparent water damage to the ceiling in the hallway/stairs), and is not clean (both rooms were filthy). I have attached over 20 relevant pictures showing how both rooms were dirty and outdated. I always bring cleaning wipes with me to wipe down door handles and the remote control; however, when I entered the second room, I knew there would be no updated or clean rooms and used so many cleaning wipes to clean the dirty and rusted fridge, the dirty and rusted microwave, the dirty and molded A/C, the door handles, the countertops, the soiled TV/dresser, the toilet seat and handles, the dirty remote control, the TV, the table, the broken chair, and the headboards. I almost ran out of cleaning wipes! I took several videos, too. My room card didn't work when I returned from going out shopping. I tried to call the front desk, but no one answered the phone, so I had to walk back downstairs, arms full of bags and dinner. The only pro was NO one was rude; however, the hotel needs so much work!! It should not charge the prices it does due to its poor condition. The pictures posted on ChoiceHotels.com are very misleading and false! I should have read the reviews BEFORE booking here! And every review on their website is returned with an automated response from a manager-nothing is addressed or resolved. I am pretty sure, the same will happen here as well. I do not EVER plan on returning to this location.

In overall satisfaction Choice Hotels has always been my go to hotels. I booked two rooms since we were in town to go to a concert at the Kia Center in Orlando, six miles away. This location however need major TLC, new furniture and a general change in vibe. Dirty looking, shabby and outdated exterior, surrounded by homeless people and not so great area. The registration area and lobby not inviting. As a choice member, not greeted as such, although the registration clerk was affable and informative. To get to the elevators, the area around the elevator it smelled like a subway station at 3 in the morning mixed with the smell of pot or electrical wiring. Hallways and the rooms super dated and furniture has seen much better days. On the fifth floor, our only exterior window had a major crack on the glass. With that said, the mattress and pillows were super comfortable and the ac was superior. Had the best sleep ever. The bathroom was functional and clean, a bit shabby but did it's job. My group did not want to eat the free breakfast, too many negatives and lack of equipment cleanliness. Would I stay there again...NO. But for the price and the convenience to the arena, a strong selling point.
