Premier Inn Falkirk North

We recently stayed at Premier Inn Falkirk North and had a mixed experience. Positives: • The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. • The room and facilities were clean and well-maintained. • Convenient location for our needs. Negatives: • The room was uncomfortably hot, with no air conditioning despite it being advertised most hotels with air conditioning. We had to open the window for ventilation, but as it was a ground-floor room and we had children with us, this didn’t feel safe at night. So kept closed at night. • The soundproofing between floors was poor. We could hear every step and movement from the room above, which disrupted our sleep. • The shower water pressure was very weak. • The WiFi didn’t work, which also made the smart TV unusable. • Breakfast was disappointing as several items listed as included (black pudding, tomatoes, strawberry yogurts, white bread) were missing. Overall, while the staff and cleanliness were excellent, the lack of comfort and missing amenities made the stay less enjoyable. Improvements to air conditioning, WiFi, soundproofing, and breakfast options would make a big difference.

The reception staff where more than helpful got extra tea and coffee and breakfast was very good they made us porridge and poached eggs fresh on top of the full fry, also we left the dirty towel outside the door and they were replaced , room was tidy and cleaned

The reception staff member who checked me in was very friendly. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Great blackout curtains. Surprisingly there was very little noise from the nearby motorway and service station right beside the hotel. We took the meal deal which was great value. The food in the adjoining Bewers Fayre was very good, no complaints at all. Would stay here again.

The people/staff at this hotel were lovely - friendly & helpful. The breakfast was also very good. However, there were three things I did not like:- 1. The lack of any kind of lobby / central meeting area for guests to sit and wait for one another 2. I had to make my own bed on the second night as the room wasn’t attended to at all 3. Both my sheet & my doona cover (on both sides of the cover had largish yellow stains on them. While they weren’t dirty, they looked dirty, and in this age of bleach & industrial washing machines, there really is no excuse for this! Charmaine Mason

Falkirk North is a very convenient location for getting to the major sights in the area. There's a friendly reception when you arrive and large rooms. The beds are very comfortable and I slept like a log despite the dull rumble of motor way noise. The over-bath shower was okay and a late check-out was much needed for me after a week-long road trip. All this at a reasonable price makes it difficult to overlook Premier Inn.

As the title says Amy from housekeeping is terrible as she first not only went into my mothers and sisters room when they wasn’t their, but tried on their make up and used their make up equipment AND THEN even stole some make up, and what’s worse is even after alerting the hotel and manager what she has done we first was told that the issue would be sorted and we would be untitled for a refund (which still wouldn’t even cover the cost of the make up as they had to throw them all away) we even had proof that she was in the room and used their stuff and she as she was caught by my sister and quickly tried to pretend she was cleaning up, it’s a disgrace and now the hotel are saying they can’t do anything about it and can’t issue a refund, by far the worst hotel experience ever…… what started of as a nice break turned into a trip we won’t forget for all the wrong reasons, still trying to call the hotel and guest relations it….
