Dreadful! The room was scruffy, noisy, & cold. There was no thought given to comfort. No mirror, small bed, no bedside table or lamp on one side. The towels were small and ragged. Couldn’t wait to leave & won’t return! We were in an annexe which was really scruffy & worn out, and security wasn’t too clever either. When we checked out on Sunday morning, the main hotel was locked up and we struggled to drop the keys off!

I Stayed here for 4 nights Sat - Tues inc and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The bar staff are bang on, absolutely fantastic, really friendly and helpful with info on places to visit in the area plus the best ways to get to the places of interest, aka Falkirk Wheel, Kelpies etc. The room I had was fine, yes some bits are dated as it is an old building, but it was very clean and everything in the room worked as you would expect, the rooms, towels, etc were cleaned every day, i bumped into the maid (not sure of their title) every morning on my way to work @ 07:50 ish and she was very helpful, small chat and asked if i needed anything for my room. I ate 3 nights out of the 4 and all the meals i had were great spot on and i am a fussy eater, i asked for a couple of small changes from the menu with no problem from the staff. So all in all i found this place fine for me to stay at, and would happily stay here again

Stayed overnight with friends as had a race in Falkirk the next day. Check in was quick, staff were friendly and showed us to our rooms, even carried a bag. The rooms are basic but clean, tv, mini fridge and toiletries. We had dinner in the hotel which was lovely and they do a great deal for residents, £15 for a main with an alcoholic drink. Location is perfect and there is minimal car parking at hotel.

I do not know how this terrible place is allowed to post such misleading photos of their rooms which must only exist in another world. I arrived after a 6 hour road journey. I couldn't find the entrance. There are only 2 parking spaces. The room I was given was up 2 cement spiral staircases. The "room". Plank of a bed. No chair. Nowhere to hang clothes. Very noisy traffic. Dirty. I asked to be given a quieter room. No!. Filthy. Shower head fell off. DO NOT BOOK HERE!. How they have passed any safety regulations is beyond comprehension.

Pillows, bed and towels were soft which is a good as it got for me. Because the room, the size of the Beds, Shower, Lighting, Heating, Decoration, Room amenities Were all very poor not to mention the lack of information regarding the demolition works opposite that starts at 7am! Definitely not worth £80pppn I would not recommend or be staying here again on my next visit to Falkirk.

This is a comfortable, if somewhat basic hotel located only a few minutes walk from the station. Staff were very friendly and my room was clean, although a little dated. My evening meal was very good value although breakfast wasn’t available.

I booked accommodation for one night only as a solo traveller. I went inside the pub/restaurant and checked in at the bar. I was then taken to a seperate building a few yards down the street to the room itself. It felt dark and gloomy as you walked up the stairs to the rooms. The room was a good size with ensuite facilities. However, it was very basic indeed and looked somewhat tired. In fact, there wasn't even a coat hanger or wardrobe to put my shirts in. I paid £80 for room only with no breakfast included. I thought it was somewhat pricey for the facilities on offer. Overall, the annexe felt like a 2 star accomodation. Would I stay here again or recommend it to other travellers, then no I wouldn't. Prices have increased for hotel bookings but, paying £80 without any form of breakfast is, my opinion, too high.
