This hotel was a welcome weekend break The service was excellent throughout. The food and service in the Cedar restaurant was superb. It was a culinary delight. The building itself is amazing medieval looking with character everywhere. The cherry on top this time of year was the Christmas decorations. There were Christmas trees at every turn and in every corner. The huge tree in the Great Hall being the most outstanding. The hotel is deep in real countryside so we had a very peaceful nights sleep too.

After a few stressful weeks, we arranged childcare and my husband and I booked a night away at Fawsley Hall. We thought we’d splash out on something special. We trawled webpages looking for a good spa hotel and this looked good. On arrival, a lot of people were arriving at the same time but only one man (Stephen) was available to check people in. He was very lovely but clearly rushed off his feet and so we had to wait for 15-20 mins in the Reception area to book in. It would have been great if other staff could have been deployed to the Reception to help book people in. We asked about dinner and we were told that there was limited availability for dinner. This seemed strange given we had paid a lot of money to stay for one night in the hotel. We were told that usually the hotel Would contact guests to book a time for dinner but that they had no contact details at all for us and so hadn’t done this. It seemed quite odd. We had to book for a late 8:30pm dinner slot. We were shown to our room and we asked when would be a good time to go to the Spa. We were told any time was good and that there would always be space. We took a short walk and headed to the spa. The lady there told us that it was very busy and there were no spaces left. We went inside and it was very busy and no loungers were available. We found one available lounger and my husband had to just sit on the floor to read his book beside me. The saunas were full so we had a quick swim and then sat to read. The fire alarm went off and rang and rang. It didn’t stop and after 50 mins, our ears were ringing and we left having not used much of the spa facilities. It was very disappointing as when you book an overnight stay, you check in at 3pm and out at 11am which isn’t even a full 24 hours. That said, the staff were very nice and very apologetic and said they had never seen it so busy in the spa. Back in the room, we got ready to go for dinner. The bathroom was up some stairs and the ceiling is slanted over the sink. If you are tall like I am, you may wish to ask for a room without a slanted ceiling as it is slanted above the toilet and sink area and easy to hit your head. There was a mirror over the sink but it was in a dark corner and the lights on the mirror didn’t work and so I couldn’t do my make-up in the bathroom as I’d wanted. The dinner was super. Ollie our waiter was fabulous and the food was delicious and exciting in a lovely setting. We would give the restaurant and its staff a big thumbs up. The following day, we went for breakfast in the restaurant. Our waiter was very friendly and pleasant. He offered us tea or coffee and we said “coffee”. After taking some food from the buffet, we ate it and order some hot food but our coffee still hadn’t arrived. Our hot food arrived and then finally a larger pot of coffee arrived for the two of us. Soon after, we noticed the people sitting next to us were brought lovely Latte coffee and we wished we had been offered more of a menu of co

We visited FH For a Spa day 22.02.25 on arrival we were served a delicious breakfast before being given a tour of the Spa and facilities. We then relaxed into the day with firstly enjoying the Himalayan Salt Sauna followed by cold showers and then the outdoor hot tub and the Herbal Sauna which was unbelievably relaxing. We then enjoyed an amazingly tasty and nutritious lunch before having our two treatments. A Facial and Massage. My treatments were given by the amazing Donna who I cannot recommend enough! Donna took her time to work on some really bad knots in my shoulders and neck, and the facial was incredible. I will definitely be returning to experience more of the same. All in all we had a wonderful day and felt brand new afterwards. Thank you Donna & Fawsley Hall Hotel. & Spa. Wendy

We’ve had a wonderful 3 night break at Fawsley Hall and what a fabulous place, we stayed in the Francis Walsingham suite it was sheer luxury. The grounds are beautifully maintained and all the lounge rooms are stunning, the spa is excellent with such a good choice of relaxing rooms, gym has everything you need for a workout. The staff are probably the best I’ve come across in hotels and we are used to staying at some of the worlds finest hotels, the staff are so friendly and helpful and the hotel can’t do enough to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I don’t think the photos and videos that I looked at before arrival do it any justice, in person this place is so much more better in person, we will definitely be returning to Fawsley Hall, it’s a very special place. Room was lovely great selection of drinks and nibbles . Spa was very intimate beds in spa so comfy . I personally like a deeper pool to exercise and swim in. It was only up to my waist! Loved the table for the day where we had a very nice lunch . I had a full body massage by Emma she was a brilliant therapist I have zero knots now in my body . My friend has a facial and fell asleep so must have been good. We upgraded and had head massages very worth doing . I also upgraded for the led mask and had the blue light. The product used has made my skin so soft on the next day. Food was amazing in the restaurant the staff were so accommodating . Because I was so relaxed and zonked they brought my dessert to my room. We are having a 2 night stay and it is well worth it. No complaints staff are amazing and friendly in the whole hotel .

I stayed last Saturday/Sunday nights for my dad’s wedding and it was just wonderful! The most amazing breakfast, dinner, and service on such a lovely weekend. The spa was a great addition too! All of the staff were a delight and so helpful, but a special thank you to a member of your front of house team called Amie, (or Aime - the spelling has escaped my mind but I can’t not mention her) who made us feel so special on such a big day for my Dad and Step-Mum. She was lovely not just on the Saturday night in the bar, but in Knightly Court on the Sunday she was very happy to have a lovely chat, a very kind individual, whilst always being on the ball with the tasks at hand. Thank you! Not only this, but the venue is just marvellous. Gorgeous interior and exterior. Would highly recommend! Martha

Fawsley Hall turned out to be the perfect location for a weekend break to celebrate my Wife’s birthday. The hotel itself is full of character and exceptionally well maintained, the grounds and surrounding area are ideal for a leisurely walk and the Spa is modern and really well equipped. There appears to be a great selection of rooms - each seemingly individually styled and ours was immaculately clean. From the moment we booked, the team were excellent. Everyone we encountered were unbelievably friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. The hotel has the most amazing and cozy bar - with a huge fireplace, that was a perfect hideaway from the cold weather. The bar (and restaurant) team were always on hand and had a great sense of humour too… as well as serving the best Lime Daiquiris ever! The food is really good - breakfast, lunch and dinner were all excellent and the bar menu in particular was very reasonably priced. Final mention for the Spa team - both of us had the most relaxing treatments which capped a perfect stay. Thanks to the whole team
