Beautiful blend of traditional German hotel with very modern updates. Some how blended perfectly like still seeing the old wooden beams of the building but having a wonderful rain shower in the bathroom. Our room was so comfortable after a long day of travel had two chairs to sit in a nice bed and a place for everything. Thought the coal hooks near the door and the boot racks and large towel warmers were a very thoughtful touch. The bench at the end of the bed was also great to put luggage on or put your boots on or prep you next day outfit. Also had a nice desk and decent WiFi if work needed to be done. Could not hear any of the other guest from our room. The most important thing to me is a clean room and it was so clean everywhere! Towels and sheets perfectly white and soft, hardwood floors and rugs excellent. Really one of the cleanest places I have ever been. The most amazing thing about the place were the people the couple who run the hotel were lovely and always helpful in a genuine way. They also had their children with them at times which was so lovely. Would so recommend the experience so few family run hotels left and none that make such a warm and welcoming stay. Hope to go back someday!

The owner and the family are nice and friendly. The room is clean and breakfast is variety and great. The location is not far from Titisee. It takes us 10 mins to get there. We would stay there again.

We have been visiting the Adler for 14 years and it is just incredible that in the many visits over those years the quality has never varied in the slightest. That includes the quality of the food and the service. It is really amazing that such consistency of so high a level of service delivery can be achieved. This visit was slightly different in that it was the first time we stayed over at the Adler, for two nights. The accommodation, just like the restaurant, is of the highest quality. Beautifully appointed and decorated rooms, spotlessly clean, comfortable and peaceful. All this however, is not what makes the Adler so special. It is the wonderful people who work here. Visiting the Adler is just like coming home to your parents house. The feelings of comfortable familiarity, peace, restfulness, friendliness and happiness immediately overcome you. We can only say thank you to the Familie Wimmer-You and the staff at the Adler for all the wonderful memories over the years. We will return.

Bel hôtel dans un super cadre. Equipe familiale. Chambre coquette et de style montagnard et surtout rénovées. Excellent petit déjeuner, bien garni. Seul bémol, les deux matelas qui forment le grand lit.

Wir waren zu einem Geburtstagsessen im Adler. Von der professionellen Reservierung, dem super freundlichen Service bis hin zum geschmacklich perfekten Essen bleibt kein Wunsch offen. So stellt man sich einen gelungenen Abend in entspannter Atmosphäre vor. Vielen Dank dafür! Man merkt sofort, dass es hier ein Familienbetrieb ist!

Sehr gute, ehrliche Schwarzwald-Küche. Die Gerichte sind durchweg sehr gut und es schmeckt ausgesprochen gut. Der Service ist ebenfalls sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Dieses Hotel und Restaurant ist eine sehr gute Alternative zu den sehr touristischen und überteuerten Restaurants und Hotels am nahegelegenen Titisee (wo man weder essen noch übernachten sollte).

Super hotel ! Sterk aanbevolen en echte aanrader ! 10/10 voor de hele accommodatie en personeel ! Lekker ontbijt & avonddiner, heel vriendelijk personeel met uitstekende bediening. Heel propere hygiënische kamer met uitstekend bed en uitzicht op het dal. Komen zeker nog terug !
