Excellent Hotel, Staff Brilliant Especialy David, restaurant is a tad Pricey but the food is excellent. Bed Comfy, Shower and Bathroom Excellent, Very Central Location Beach 5 minute Walk, Shops 5 minute Walk.Has it's own pub, with Dart Board! I stay once every two to three weeks, don't like to rave too much about it, it might just get too popular.

We checked in on Saturday and we were feel welcome till we left Monday morning. Very warm and clean room, great bed and good lighting. Breakfast was a higher standard and set us for the day when visiting the town and seafront. We booked the restaurant for a late Sunday lunch and it turned out to be a satisfactory fine dining experience, can’t find a fault.

I had an excellent experience at Coco Hotel in Felixstowe! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a perfect space to relax after a day of exploring. The restaurant was a highlight of my stay. The service was outstanding, and the steak was absolutely delicious. The location was ideal, with easy access to public transport, the town centre, and the beautiful beach. It made getting around and enjoying the area so convenient and enjoyable. I highly recommend Coco Hotel to anyone visiting Felixstowe and look forward to staying here again!

The restaurant is very well refurbished to a high standard but the lights are so dim, you struggle to read the menu and some other tables had to use their phone as a torch. The waitress was very friendly but the lady on the drinks was severely lacking smiles. Chips were fantastic and must be tried to be believed but the sirloin steak was dreadful :- tough, totally unseasoned and i had to chase it around the plate to cut it. I cant believe a steak can go out without a trace of seasoning so can only assume it was an oversight- The rest of the meal was good and i'm sure we will go back but some obvious issues need to be addressed to make this place work.

This is when you can literally see corners being cut everywhere. We had a “deluxe suite” that as far from deluxe as you can get. It’s started with the door to our room that had a crack so wide all the light from the hall flooded in. The window was painted open, the bathroom tiling had been done so quickly all the grout was cracking, the bathroom door had a 2 inch gap underneath it and the bed moved on its coasters every time you moved. The walls were paper thin and you could literally hear every word spoken in the next room so 2 nights of the worst sleep we have ever had. It was awful and for nearly £400

We visited Cocos for dinner on a Thursday night . The restaurant has been nicely refurbished from the old Brook Hotel but the dim lighting makes reading the menu a challenge. The service was indifferent and the food a big disappointment.! The prawn cocktail was a few prawns in a very vinegar tasting sauce with a tiny piece of lettuce . The goats cheese starter resulted in a search to find the goats cheese. The steaks for main were ok but nothing special with a few well cooked chips. Not a place I would recommend. Such a shame as we arrived with great expectation.

Bed and room comfortable bathroom very challenging with low ceiling. Minor issues such as loose toilet seat, missing light. However breakfast poor. Ordered scrambled egg on white bread received a yellow liquid on brown. Not sure If Marco Pierre White would want to give his name to this. That said dinner the night before was first rate.

Stayed in room 216 on saturday 30 November 2024 as part of a party of 6 celebrating my husbands birthday. On checking out the following morning I reported issues with the room and was assured that a manager would call me to discuss. The reception staff informed me that the room would be taken out of use. Springs prominent in the mattress making a very uncomfortable bed There were only 2 pillows which were extremely flat, we had to prop them up with cushions Sash window would not stay open making the room stuffy The shower was unusable and unsafe as we were only able to get it very very hot or cold, we both had cold showers that morning I left my contact details and was assured that a manager would call me to discuss. No contact after 5 days, I sent an email but the hotel has still not contacted me.
