The hotel is brand new. Conveniently located just outside the old town.
Restaurant in the hotel is very nice and not expensive. Breakfast buffet is only 10 rmb per person. Although there is no meat dishes but for that price how could you ask for more. Hotel reception is very helpful.
I recommend this hotel.

Phoenix Mingyun International Hotel (although located behind some shop lots) is strategically positioned. The room is spacious, equipped with modern facilities and with very comfortable beddings. The new washing machines and dryers on the second floor made it convenient for us to wash our clothes before flying home.
It is just a short walk to the ancient town (walk out to the main road, turn right, walk straight ahead and you will reach the ancient town). A 15 minutes' walk will bring you to the morning local market called Lanxin (the courteous and helpful reception staff gave us the directions). It is a bustling morning market where one can get all types of meat and a variety of seasonal fruits. We love visiting morning markets in China to soak in the local atmosphere.
I would stay here again if I visit Fenghuanggucheng. This hotel is definitely more comfortable than those minsu (bed and breakfast accommodation) located at the ancient town. Thank you for the great hospitality provided, Phoenix Mingyun International Hotel.

Great location 5 minutes walking to the ancient town. It was nice to be away from the noise at night time. Hotel is clean and staff friendly. They gave us a free upgrade so our two rooms can be on the same level.

This hotel offers excellent room standards, location is ideal if you need a quiet nights rest, breakfast at hotel is really good and fresh. Best to catch the bus from the high speed train station as it is only a 5 min walk to hotel at 7RMB pp. Close to main attractions located behind main street stores. Staff were excellent with the service and I highly recommend this stay.

The hotel has an excellent location and convenient transportation. It takes 5 minutes to walk to Tuojiang River, 6 minutes to the bus station, and 10 minutes to the high-speed rail station by car. The hotel room is very clean, spacious and bright. The waiters are friendly and enthusiastic. The breakfast is also rich. Overall, the stay experience is good.

Good location. Easy access to sightseeing point. Just few minutes can arrive Phoenix ancient village. Price reasonable.

Excellent location for visiting ancient phoenix town with only 5 minutes walk to scenic spots, and yet still enjoy modern hotel comfort. Our room is clean with comfortable bed, and good working Aircon and shower. Breakfasts cost only 10yuan per person, offering very basic Chinese foods, we would prefer pay more for more variety and quality.
