I stayed with my partner overnight for my grandfathers funeral, checked and went for food at McDonald’s as the restaurant had shut by the time we arrived at 9pm, when we went into the room we was met with the musky smell of damp. Upon further inspection the was mould over the wall and by the window sill. There was also black marks over the bed and the curtain rod had fallen down. I went to reception as we couldn’t get the heating on and to show them the issues, the guy came and saw the mould and issues, at no point was we offered to move rooms and as there was no lift and my partner having an injury, we was limited to a downstairs room, we stayed put for the night. Bed was comfy as all premier inns but the rooms are in serious need of upgrading. Had breakfast the next day, was fine. Food wasn’t great and was food to order so difficult for a all you can eat breakfast when the poor woman who was on her own was taking orders, delivering food, clearing plates and tables, seating people and replenishing food. Definitely wouldn’t stay at this premier inn again or would I recommend. I would rather stay at Ringwood and travel in.
