Riad Moulaydriss et Giacomo

Lately renovated charming Riad located at the heart of Chefchaouen. 5-15min walks to any photo spots or interest spots. The up but also slightly down side is exactly this as well: It’s located at the middle of everything so it’s on the mid-mountain with stairs: Think twice if you are traveling with heavy baggages. The staff are very nice to offer help up and down but it’s still a kinda hard core mini hydrox lol.

This riad is exceptional in every way; our four-night stay was a wonderful start to our visit to Morocco. The riad is stunning, with an amazing courtyard, beautiful rooms, and very warm and attentive service from the wonderful riad manager Batoul and all the riad staff. The daily breakfast they served and our one dinner there were the best meals of the trip - absolutely delicious and beautifully presented . Batoul also provided great assistance with arranging a fantastic private tour of the medina. as well as a day tour of the Middle Atlas. And the location can't be beat, since it's very conveniently located near the action in the medina. Don't miss staying here if you're headed to Fes.

The staff was incredibly helpful and the service was excellent. The Manager is delightful and recommended excellent restaurants, nearby in the medina. I really appreciated her scheduling transportation from the train station to the riad and booking a guide for a tour of the medina. The riad is close to the street, so it was easy to find and to move your luggage. The rooms have a large shower and bathroom. The best breakfast that I had in Morocco was at the Riad Moulay Driss & Giacomo! The atmosphere is warm and enchanting, with spectacular architecture that has been meticulously preserved. My stay at this riad was so memorable!!

Gorgeous & welcoming. The Riad also booked a cooking class & city walking tour for us. Top notch. I especially enjoyed the walking tour with a man who obviously knew his city & its people & history. It's in a great location & Omar was an excellent resource for all things.

A lovely hidden gem in Fez! This is an amazing family run Riad and restaurant. The Riad, its courtyard, main room (room 1), and terrace are basically like a museum or tourist attraction. And then you have the Extremely hospitable and friendly staff . Staying here is like being transported back several hundred years but somehow still having modern amenities . The made to order breakfast is wonderful . The dinner is one of the best meals we had in Morocco.

This Riad is in an amazing location—close to the edge of the Medina so your taxi can drop you off as close as possible, while still feeling like it’s in the heart of the Medina. The common area where breakfast (and dinner if you alert them) are served is simply stunning—the mosaic, the decor, the light is beyond what pictures show. The roof terrace is beautiful! The room was huge and also stunning. But the service is the best part: the friendliest people, impeccably attentive, and all always smiling. A huge thank you to Batoul for making us feel welcome (in English, French and Spanish!) and to whomever cooked our most amazing lamb tagine and chicken with trid. (Pasta from paper-thin crepe dough). I cannot recommend highly enough! Shoukrane!
