Our stay at Dar Hafsa was brilliant. We were met at the Blue Gate of the Medina by the owner Kareem who welcomed us to Fez and walked us through the Medina to his Dar. He was very accommodating giving us mint teas and as we arrived early morning a delicious complimentary breakfast. The Dar was beautiful with mosaic walls and floor and wonderful timber work. Kareem’s son Moneur was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were served up a delicious breakfasts every morning. The room was very nice and the Dar quiet at night. Would highly recommend this Dar.

Mint tea, a delicacy so mouthwatering that even I, one who doesn’t drink a morsel of tea a year, thoroughly enjoyed. Served alongside a simple yet flavourful breakfast. The room elegantly decorated with beautiful ambient lights - for lovers of tea and excellent breakfasts and even for people who don’t drink tea as myself, the orange juice is a an amazing alternative and I urge everyone who visits to try this place out and trust me, you will not regret it. Very nice stay, the hospitality was very good and the host went out of his way to give us advice, recommend places to eat and helped on anything he could. The road was very clean and good. The breakfast was delicious and a lot of food!. They also recommend many tours to try and visit!

Amazing stay at Dar Hafsa and I would say mainly due to the staff! So attentive, caring, and helpful. We were pointed in the right direction to find things we wanted to purchase with good quality and honest pricing, the owner has another riad that was booked full during our stay so we weren’t able to stay but he still brought us over to see it! They even made me some mint tea and sent it up to the room with my husband when they knew I had a work meeting! Felt like I was staying at family’s house!

The place was a gem, the owner was a gem and the location was close to shopping, restaurants, and the blue gate. If you are reading these reviews and are unsure of where to stay, like we were, you will be happy with this choice. The beds were comfortable and clean as well as the bathrooms and showers.

The experience was absolutely amazing! The host was one of the kindest people I have ever met! He was super helpful and extremely trustworthy. It was my first time visiting Morocco and he made us feel completely at home.. The rooms were stunning with beautiful interior design and such high quality. The breakfast was very good with fresh ingredients and great taste!

We tried a couple of Riyadhs during our stay in Fez. If you are wondering what Riyadh to stay in you don’t have to look any further this is the one. It is beautifully restored, nice people, beds and bathrooms. Breakfast was good and hospitality was great. Close to the markets and blue gate.

This place is a gem in the heart of the ancient city. Azis took amazing care of us from start to finish. Easy to contact at any time, easy to connect with. He arranged an amazing tour for us with a lovely tour guide who spent most of the day with us showing us the city's history and also mindful of our needs throughout. We stayed a lot of enchanting places in Morocco, this one was incredible, and known throughout the city as a wonderful place. I can see why. Thanks Aziz :)
