This is a beautiful riad, with a beautiful team of hard-working and excellent Moroccan staff. Unfortunately, our experience as a team of 16 women on a pilgrimage was tainted by the very poor behaviour of the French owner and host of the riad. We found her to be distant and cold from the beginning, often feeling watched and surveyed by her - in stark contrast to the oustanding Moroccan team she has. This we may have excused despite it making us feel uncomfortable, but her behaviour on one afternoon was particularly disappointing. When our Moroccan guide who was born in and has lived in Fes his whole life and is well respected arrived, she stood up and surveyed us and him. He greeted her warmly and kindly, though she ignored him. He remained standing whilst we prepared to leave. He asked if he may check something on the wifi whilst waiting, and she rather rudely and uncharitably said no. It was very uncomfortable for us and him, and she didn't approach any of us to discuss it and instead continued to stand over watching all of us. Despite her rudeness, he warmly greeted her as we left, which she again ignored. She then approached one of us after he left and asked that he does not return again, and proceeded to ignore us all in the street for the duration of our stay. Fourteen of us then departed, and she sent a message apologising for her behaviour, and she then proceeded to behave as you would expect a host to towards the remaining two guests. Although this apology did come, she had opportunities to rectify the situation in the moment, and for days after, yet she continued to affirm her position and behave rudely, ignoring us and making us feel very uncomfortable. This was a disappointing experience and we shall not be returning, despite the excellent Moroccan team.

This was our favorite place in our 2 weeks in Morocco. It was like staying at a Riad in the past. The furniture and furnishings in the central area and our room were gorgeous. There was beautiful wood work, wonderful tile, and stained glass. It was a very special place. Everyone there was also fantastic. We had dinner there all 3 nights, and they were some of the best meals we had. Plus they were all in a wonderful setting. One night was on the roof top patio, and the others in the central area. The breakfasts were also delicious. Everything was also very clean and comfortable. The one thing that was also very authentic, but for some could be difficult, was the stairways are small and fairly steep. They carried our luggage up and down for us, so we didn't find it a problem.

Beautiful place and the staff, Latifa, Abdul made our stay unforgettable. Great location inside the Medina, close to everything, one minute from top tanneries and like 3 min walk to taxi pick up area. Thank youuu.

It was like spending nights in a museum. Such interesting furnishings...totally awesome. It was fascinating just to walk around or go to the terrace (where you could take breakfast) and get a view of the city. It could have actually been a destination just to see. Service was most excellent, friendly, and helpful. Staff were fluent in French and adequate in English. Location was outstanding, right in the middle of the old town. Breakfast (full) was included. Bedroom was large and decorated in a very interesting way. Bed was very comfortable.

Stayed here with family while touring Morocco. The hotel is on a quiet alley just a short distance from all the action in the Medina. The decor of the hotel and rooms was great. Don't miss taking in the city on the roof top terrace.

We stayed at the Riad Kettani in Fes for 4 nights at the end of May and really enjoyed ourselves! The entire staff - particularly Latifah, Abdou and Youssef (apologies for misspelling any names!) - made our visit a real pleasure and were always on hand to help out and give advice on the city. We were dropped off at a parking spot a short walk away (as the medina is almost totally pedestrianised) and one of the members of staff met us there, helping us carry the bags through the narrow medina streets to the riad. The riad itself is beautiful, with a gorgeous central courtyard, and our room (“Touria”) was also stunning. The location is great - on the eastern side of the medina with quick access to the main market streets and a max 20 minute walk to the furthest main sights of the city, some as close as 5min. The daily breakfast was amazing and we also had dinner at the riad on two evenings: it was far and away the best traditional Moroccan food we had on our trip! Latifah is an incredible cook and was very accommodating for e.g. vegetarianism - her food is definitely not to be missed! Alcohol was also optionally served with our meals, which was not the case for many other locations in the medina. When we left, the staff were very happy to help us book a taxi to the bus station early in the morning and even packed us a breakfast to-go. Overall we had an incredible time staying at the Riad Kettani Fes, and the staff made us feel so welcome. We would recommend them in a heartbeat!

Incredible owner and staff!!! The Riad is beautiful, confortable CLEAN rooms, wonderful breakfasts and dinners. There is a rooftop terrace that you can’t miss. The best part of this riad is the personal attention given to everyone there. They helped us with everything possible, from transport to day-trips and recommendations for seeing things in Fez.
