Vaya Fieberbrunn

Really enjoyed our ski trip to Vaya Fieberbrunn. Lovely hotel tastefully decorated in modern Scandinavian style. Rooms spacious clean and comfortable. Food was excellent - varied and plentiful and of high standard for both breakfast and dinner. Bar was great with reasonable drink prices. Staff friendly and professional. Lovely indoor/outdoor pool and spa area. Pool attracted children post skiing in Feb HT hols- but there was also a sep area in the spa more adult oriented with saunas steam rooms and relaxation area so you could avoid children if you wanted to! 10 mins walk to lifts but hotel provided ski/boot lockers at lift station so no need to do the walk in ski boots lugging skis. Fieberbrunn ski area north facing so held snow much better than rest of Saalbach Hinterglimm. All in all an excellent hotel - we would all happily stay again.

Just returning from a wonderful week at VAYA. A few things that made it great, the lovely room, great view comfy bed. We loved the good, having stayed at many 5* hotels honestly the food here was great. Anyone that complains about that must be hard to please. What really made it great was the fanstastic service from the staff. Particiularly Inge and Vivian looking after us at breakfast and dinner. They were so kind, smiley and attentive. When something wasn't great they fixed it, we had our small table changed for a booth the next day, our wifi was fixed the next day. My only criticism was it is super hot everywhere, especially in the evening, they did turn it down after a few days. The pool is mostly used by kids, so just expect that. The 8 minute walk to the lifts is fine especially as VAYA provide lockers ther so you don't have to carry you stuff. We'll be looking at other VAYA"s for our next trip. Recommended.

The place is amazing and has the most amazing food. the staff was great and always helpful. i enjoyed my stay.. only in summer the hotel should fans to help with heat. I was in a room which was hot. and a fan would have been helpful

This place could be nice but there are SO many screaming, unattended children. The images of the pool look lovely and serene. In reality it is very small. I am sitting next to it right now, and I can see 15 children screeching (echoing off the hard surfaces), bombing into the pool, throwing objects into the water, spitting at each other (!). One child repeatedly jumping up and down on the stairs, screaming and wearing his outdoor shoes in the water. There are parents here, but they seem to leave the children unattended and barely look up from their phones, let alone ask their children to behave. Last night I was trying to sleep and could hear our neighbour dragging furniture around at about 1am, while shouting at their children. Food is average and they charge for tap water at dinner (bizarrely it's free at breakfast but not dinner....). All round quite disappointing. Not luxurious and not worth half the money.

The whole experience was amazing. The staff/food/rooms/wellness suite were all top notch. It was a real pleasure to stay. Everyone went the extra mile to make it a great holiday. From a simple good morning from every member of staff every day to perfect service in the restaurant. I will definitely be returning again

We arrived completely amazed at the wonderful panoramic view. The hotel buildings are very new, modern yet in a typically Austrian setting. Quality food and special mention to Inge who understood our needs and served with zeal. The suite with premium view has a very nice view.
