The building is beautiful and the rooms have wonderful balconies facing the sea.

You just know you are in good hands and well taken care of when the Hotel Manager himself, passing front of you by the entrance of the hotel and seeing you struggling with your luggage due to a leg injury, just stops to offer some assistance. And what else could you ask for, knowing this experience happened unconsciously on Women International Day! My husband and I are just so grateful for him and his team, for making our experience so unique and caring topped up with an unexpected flower offered by the team. We have been staying at various Vila Gale hotels until now and even went beyond by setting up a membership two years ago as the locations of the hotels, the staff members and the facilities are always consistent, harmonious and enjoyable. Thank you so much Manuel Patrício and your team for the unique experience we had specifically at Vila Gale Figueira Da Foz. It was a real pleasure for us to meet you. We will certainly be back!

Hotel is fine but furniture and decor quite oldish. Service at reception is professional and courteous, but during breakfast at restaurant it is very basic. No private parking - had to pay 1euro for 2hrs, but no payment overnight. Our room had no view on the beach, probably due to the good price bargain we benefitted from.

Had a good stay here in a room with a great balcony and lovely view over the vast beach. The hotel is very modern, clean and comfortable. We were made welcome on arrival and despite being early quickly shown to our very nice room. The downstairs area of the hotel was very grand for a chain and offered a very comfortable lounge. The room was well appointed and we had a good nights sleep. The room was very quiet despite being on the front of the hotel. The breakfast, which our friends had, although extra was excellent with a lot of choice. Overall I would recommend this hotel as being very good value for money.

All comes down to expectation, and this is a good little 4 star hotel by the beach. It's good value for money, and the staff are very helpful There's wifi included and a clean comfortable room. It's a bit old, so expect some wear and tear. There's a automatic shoe shine machine on the first floor - old school! I would happily stay here again.
