DO NOT STAY HERE!! FALSLEY ADVERTISTED!! Oh where do I start ...Please read, do not book here. I'm not a person to complain or over react I grew up in the country so this says something. A. Toliet didn't work B. Advertised A/C- there isn't any C. Advertised Free WiFi- there isn't any D. Advertised in Oia- it's not E. Advertised ocean view- there's not, its on the other side. F. No running water G. Dead bugs everywhere H. Within 30 mins someone tried to come in our door aggressively twice! Terrible service- arrived, stayed for 30 minutes and promptly contacted the owners within 10 minutes of checking in with all the issues. We let them know we were no longer comfortable staying there because of all the issues above. We asked for a refund for the other 2 nights we wouldn't staying, we said they could keep that nights payment even though we were booking elsewhere. We ended up booking at a resort near by and paid over $1100 on top of what we had to pay White grapes. After all the back and fourth with White grapes listed us as a "no show" when we were back and fourth speaking with them about all the problems and said we could not stay the 3nights and were willing to take the lost on that nights payment is was THAT bad. They didn't give us a refund for anything, we stayed 30 minutes and was charged for 3 nights. To add it was my birthday that day..

Repeat, do not stay here. Toilet didn’t work, they give you a hard time about parking, you have to park a 10 minute walk away in a random parking lot. Some random man yelled at us multiple times about parking even though that’s where we were told to park. The area is run down and doesn’t look appealing or safe. We had someone try and come in our room 2 times within 30 mins of being there. Locals swearing and yelling outside, if you want safely and relaxation this is not the place for you. We left after less than an hour and re booked somewheres else that was triple the price and still got charge our 3 night say at White Grape suites, even after telling them all of our issues. Would not recommend this place to anyone. This place un fit. I would pay triple the amount again rather than ever stay there.

We stayed for 1 week at White Grape Canava Suites last November and loved it. Finikia is an ancient, rural, authentic, car-free village. We loved getting lost in the alleys of the village, reaching Oia morning and evening on foot (20 min walk one way) without stressing about parking, going to watch the sunrises and sunsets over the caldera (the panaroma near the chapel just above Finikia is exceptional!) So yes, you have to leave the car in the car parks at the entrances to the village, walk a little (it's climbing!) but what a joy not to be in the tourist crush and see the donkeys as the only way of locomotion!Our Cave was very pretty and comfortable, furnished in the Greek tradition with everything needed for the first breakfast and for cooking. It's a great experience to stay in a typical and local habitat. The terrace is magnificent, with a view of the sea (Finikia is not oriented towards the caldera). The person who takes care of the rooms is discreet and attentive, as soon as we needed something (replacement towels, etc.), she responded immediately. We were seduced by this traditional and calm Canava.
