Best Fitzroy Hotels

The facilities are very good and clean, the disadvantage is that the surrounding environment is a bit scary. We stayed at night so we were a little scared at the time, mainly worried about public security. But with the arrival of the day, there are many concerns that have decreased a lot.

Not recommended for those who value their personal data security and privacy. Not recommended for internati9nal travellers who may not have enough charge on their phones to complete 3 forms, then download and set up an app that requires constant internet and Bluetooth connections. Booking required multiple insecure methods of sharing credit card details and identification documents along with 2 forms to fill out with personal details and an app to download in order to gain access to the Building entrance, Elevator, and Apartment. None of this information was given to me prior to booking. I would not have stayed here if I had known the extent of insecure transmission of personal information and amount of admin and work required just to check in and stay one night. I work in this space and know the risks. Management is putting guests personal data at risks with the excessive documentation requests. FYI, requiring someone to send credit card PICTURES and ID pictures over email is completely insecure. This is bizarrely at odds with the excessive security to get into the building. The constant need to carry your phone everywhere or you'd be locked of the apartment or even the whole building was extremely stressful. In terms of the actual room, once I got in, the bed, kitchen, lounge and floors were clean but the toilet had not been cleaned in a long time. This was not nice. You could see parts under the rim had not been cleaned in years. Toilet had also been recently used and not flushed properly upon arrival. I did not take photos of any of this, it was too gross. I ended up buying paper cups as the glasses/cups as those supplied were not clean, tried to take a picture but it's hard to see. They were covered in fingerprints and fibres of some kind. The view was nice and loungeroom was great, study nook was extremely handy for remote work. Balcony tiles are moving and could be a tripping hazard. Laundry was well equipped but did not have time to use it.

I booked this hotel because it is in the city and there is a parking lot. But when you book it, you should pay attention to the fact that this hotel is nearly 2 kilometers away from the commercial street. It is not very convenient to walk. Please note that this is not the case. The hotel is locked at 5 o'clock in the evening. There is no need for the front desk to check in. Ctrip's order does not provide a confirmation number. The whole check-in is very troublesome. Sending information to Ctrip. Their customer service makes me call myself.

What a vibe - Feels like you’re in Brooklyn or LA. Creative clientele, beautiful common spaces, delicious food.

Very clean and hygienic, praise, will choose this homestay next time, recommend friends around you to live, really super comfortable, the environment is good, the service attitude is very good.

The room is a suite, everything is available, very close to the museum, and there is a tram nearby.

Check-in was smooth and  was graciously given a room even though we were early. The room was well equipped with a kitchenette and a washing machine. Do go up to Level 6 for a good view of the city.  Convenient location! The hotel is in the Fitzroy area. Walk out of the entrance, turn left and turn left will lead you to a busy street with eateries and supermarkets. There is a bus stop for Bus 86 that will take you into the heart of town in 20min.

Super clean and modern room. Really liked the bed - soft and comfy. The hotel definitely has its own vibe, which is great! One of the receptionists was weird though. Instead of answering my questions she just smiled widely and laughed every time. Felt creepy to be honest.

Wonderful stay. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Lots of room and a well equipped kitchen. Beds were super comfy, shower pressure was good. Location convenient and quiet. Would stay again.

It is equipped with a stove, a refrigerator, a washing machine, a bowl and a pot. It is very convenient. I bought six boxes of eggs in a small supermarket and burned them myself. The hotel has no breakfast to eat on the street, in the supermarket.
