Great position along the river, overlooking the town. Friendly and accommodating staff. Stayed in a superior double with balcony facing the river. Room was a bit worn, but the bed was great. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay here again!

Good - This hotel is in a fabulous location in the centre of a fabulous small town. It’s right on the waters edge and a short walk to swimming, supermarkets, restaurants and town centre. The rooms are modern and comfortable with good beds, good showers, good bed linens and towels and plenty of storage. The curtains allow good control of light and privacy in the rooms and the windows open for good ventilation. The public areas are both inside and out and are well decorated and comfortable. We have stayed in a lot of hotels recently and although the breakfast selection was moderate, it was kept topped up and fresh and the hotel managed to provide some new and different options we hadn’t seen before such as individual omelettes and mini doughnuts for example. Staff in all areas were good and we would definitely stay again. Highly recommended. Bad - The only thing that marred the look of the room was some stains on the chairs.

Just arrived after a mostly rainy ride on the bike from Stavanger. Normally the check in was at 15:00 but I arrived early at 12:00. It was a welcome surprise that my room was ready. Thanks for that and the coming 3 nights I found my stay. Location is supurb and the old town as well! When visiting the Southern part of Norway this is a hotel I can advise!

Hotel with excellent location, close to the village and overlooking the river. Parking available on site. Friendly and welcoming staff. The room is comfortable with everything you need. Given the climate which was certainly not August, the bathroom floor was heated and this made the "presence" in the bathroom very comfortable. Abundant dinner and breakfast. Unfortunately, given the weather, we were unable to enjoy the external veranda overlooking the river where, I think, on sunny days you can have lunch or drinks.

Alles in Ordnung. Schönes Hotel mit schöner Lage am Wasser zum gemütlichen Sitzen am Abend. Abendessen war gut. Frühstück war sehr gut und viel Auswahl. Schöne Zimmer. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Es ist ausreichend Platz. Ideal als Zwischenstopp. Freundlicher Service

Tijdens onze rondreis door Noorwegen hebben wij hier een overnachting gehad. Het is een eenvoudig maar wel netjes en schoon hotel. De kamer was prima. schoon met een goed bed. Fijne douche ook. Wij hadden er een prima kamer aan. Het personeel was vriendelijk. Het ontbijt was erg goed verzorgd. Of je nu Noors, met vis, in intercontinentaal wilde ontbijten, het kon allemaal. De keuze was meer dan ruim te noemen. Alles van een goed smakelijke kwaliteit.
