Good but not amazing hotel on the edge of town. 5 mins walk to the main ski lift/town centre. Decent, clean, spacious rooms, although sound proofing is not great. Decent breakfast and friendly staff. They have a ski room but I would suggest hiring a locker under the main lift to remove some of the hassle. Sauna and steam room were basic but functional. It's a good option for large groups. We were 16 people

We have just finished another wonderful stay at Hotel Vorab. We have stayed here several times over the last 3 years for ski breaks. It is a fabulous family run hotel only 2 minutes free bus ride (bus stops opposite hotel) from the main ski lift and Flims village centre. The team running the hotel are really friendly and helpful and there is a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The bedrooms are really comfortable and the hotel has great spa with sauna, steam rooms and a jacuzzi bath. There is a heated ski equipment room with internal and external access which is convenient. The 3 restaurants provide a breadth of choice (Italian/pizza, steak, fondue) and are very popular, so worth booking. The food is good quality and this standard is maintained for the buffet breakfast with very good offer of hot and cold food choices. Highly recommended- We will be back!

An amazing hotel with super helpful and friendly staff. We came here to celebrate my husband’s birthday and were very happy here. The breakfast spread is great. The location is perfect to hop on a bus just opposite the hotel which takes you to many nearby hikes. On the suggestion of the staff on the front desk we did the trek to Lake Cauma, then to see the Grand Canyon of Switzerland, then to Crestasee and back to the hotel by bus. So pleased with the experience. We shall be back to experience winter here.

Business Trip in Flims. Short stay of two nights. Rich breakfast buffet, nice stuff in the two Restaurants as well as at the reception. Clean rooms and clean area. I used the sauna area as well that was really enjoyable as there were no people. I would book another trip in this hotel

We could enjoy a wonderful stay in Flims. The stuff is very friendly, the breakfast buffet is rich and the rooms are very comfortable. A bus stop is right opposite the hotel and with the hotels guetscard you can use every single bus in the region for free. Thanks a lot for the wonderful stay

Perfect hotel for a father-and-son ski break. It’s not fancy but the rooms are clean, the staff friendly (especially Mariana on reception) and the showers hot and powerful. Breakfast is very good - fabulous Bircher Muesli. We dined at both the Pizzeria and Steakhouse and food was decent. Service quick and efficient too. Reservations definitely needed as Flims is short of mid range restaurants and both get busy. Sauna area good too with three different options - traditional, Danish and steam. For ski hire, Sport Beat we’re close by and professional. The local shuttle bus can take you to the main lifts in 2 mins - otherwise it’s a 10 minute walk. Transport from ZRH painless - train to Chur and then a regular bus to the door of the hotel. Highly recommended if you’re primarily here for the skiing.

This review is from a 1200 plus night Marriott custom who travels for a living. I never have had this kind of experience. The first issue was they put me in a room that the clerk later told me they knew has serious noise issues from the apartment above it. The first night I was so tired I guess it didn’t matter much. The second night I call and asked to be moved. The clerk told me he would be right up, he never showed. I call again 30 mins later and he told me there was nothing he could do to help me. So that’s how it started… after my departure I received a phone call from the hotel looking for their plastic standard room key and telling me I owed them for drinks in the bar from 5 nights earlier, which was totally incorrect. Today the front desk followed up with a nasty email telling me they wanted 10 Euro for the plastic key. I mean you can’t make this stuff up. So just don’t stay here. Can’t be any worse options in town

We loved the hotel! The rooms were spacious, modern and clean. The staff were very friendly and nothing was every too much trouble. The breakfast was lovely and our sons (adults) took advantage of the breakfast Prosecco!! The hotel has three restaurants, all were good quality, and we ate here as the town was generally quiet. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
