Great location minute from station and 10 from centre. Some rooms are normal, loft room we had. is a bit poor... Steep stairs up to tiny bed loft, doorway is midget size hit my head nearly everytime. Nighttime toilet trip is dangerous. Air con stuck in downstairs corner, does nothing for the room air doesnt circulate. Upstairs is hot even when cold outside. Cant leave windows open as street noisy still at midnight, bright lights outside fill the room, no blackout curtains. Bed roof height is enough to sit, not enough to be on knees ;-) Downstairs is tiny, suitcase on lounge. The good. Saw another room and it was normal flat nice. Proactive reception. Clean tidy and new fit out. Would happily stay again but id pay more for a normal room. Not sure if this loft was cheaper

the hostess was very responsive and we got check in and some questions sorted before we arrived. When we arrived in the evening, we discovered that we did not get the room we had booked and paid extra for. It should have been a large room with balcony and garden view. Instead we got a small room with a window tucked in one corner looking out on a dark narrow inner yard on the first floor of a four-story building. In fact it was so dark the next morning, that we couldn't tell if it was day or night as you could barely see a patch of sky. Also couldn't open a window as there was a noisy box (air con?) below window. The bathroom window had its handle removed and was taped up all around despite there not being an extractor fan as far as we could tell. Very odd. We did complain straight away by WhatsApp and were told we could move to another property 3 minutes away the next day without any extra cost. I find it difficult to rate this property as we had a very bad start and I can only judge this property by what I saw. However, the hostess and owner tried to correct the error the very next day by giving us an apartment in a different property (which I cannot review here as I didn't book it). this new property was on the third floor without a lift which we were not told. Not ideal as I have mobility issues, especially on stairs.
