I stayed for a few days. I booked a room before my flight and was afraid that I might not like it. The hotel is in a good location, it was important that the train station was nearby. I walked to all the sights and generally did not use transport. They allowed me to leave my luggage until the train. Comfortable bed, well-functioning shower without interruptions in water. The room is warm. I hardly heard my neighbors, I think I was lucky. It smells delicious. Next time I come, I will most likely also stay here.

I booked this hotel via the Qantas website. Did not research prior to booking. I stayed for 2 nights during the 3rd heat wave. Assess to the building is a little confusing. 2 flights of stairs with no lift access. You need to pay hotel tax in cash on arrive- a common thing in Italy during my trip. I found the hotel slightly outdated but it is clean and safe. My AC was working very well and I had no concerns as a female traveller. The wifi was also working well. Hotel is a 5 min walk to many tourist attractions which is very convenient. I did not need to take public transport during my 3 day visit as most tourist attractions are centrally located.

Centrally located rooms in Florence, from where you can easily reach the main tourist destinations. The room is very clean albeit a little dated. We had to pay the tourist tax in cash because, according to the receptionist, "there is no pos connected to the municipality". Poor quality mattress and pillows.
