Hotel Albani Firenze

Hotel Albani Firenze has an excellent location, just a short walk from the train station, which made getting around very convenient. However, the entrance has no ramp, so handling luggage was inconvenient unless staff were available to assist. The hotel was generally clean, but the overall decor felt very dated. My room looked old-fashioned, with unattractive lime green walls and an awkwardly placed TV on the cabinet in front of the bed. There were no charging points or plugs by the bedside tables, which was inconvenient. One of the most frustrating parts of the stay was the ironing policy. Instead of providing an iron and ironing board, the hotel only offered a steamer with a £50 cash deposit. This felt outdated and impractical, especially for international travellers not carrying cash. Service was mixed, with some staff being friendly while others came across as rude. Breakfast was also disappointing, and I chose to eat at a nearby café on two mornings instead. Seeing rotten fruit at breakfast was especially off-putting. Overall, while the location is a strong advantage, the dated facilities, inconvenient policies, and inconsistent service made this a disappointing stay. I would rate it 2/10.

not that close to the center area of Firenze, but is really close to the train station. The breakfast is great and the croissaint is amazing, love it
