Hotels in Campo di Marte, Florence

Located next to the other train station in Florence, need to take a 10 mins (1.7euro) train ride or a 30 -mins walk to access the historic center. Facilities are good, socket on bed, spacious toilets and shower room etc. The way they organize themselves can be improved tho. Had some issues when checking in, later solved but still mentally exhausted.

Distant from Florence train station to hotel is far 40min. Bus service also not reliable. Hotel only provide half day service before 2pm. Guest in the hotel is loud at night. There no aircon working in the hotel due the outside weather 16c. We have to open window to get cold air in. Unfortunately it make the room noise unbearable because of the traffic car outside facing the window. Mosquito appear in the room at night. So please request for repellent.

firstly, I realized that the room smelled very bad like someone definitely smorked in it even it is non-smorking room. So, I asked the staff that I can change the room, but that day were fully booked so that I can’t. She also said, next day has a vacant so I can change the room, but finally I couldn't because of the staffs miss communication. Also I asked laundly service but when I came back to the hotel, it is not completed because the staff forgot Sunday is out of service. in the first place, the laundry service cost is too expensive so I dont recommend.

This is a traditional, symbolic Italian style premises. We were told that this hotel was newly refurnished in March 2022! The rooms are spacious, clean and tidy! We spent 4 nights in here and everything are up to standard. Breakfast inclusive of variety of choices with freshly brewed coffee. Would definitely recommend to family and friends!

I love to lodge away from turistic places so I can walk and get a better feeling of the city and the location of the hotel was perfect for that!

Hotel Abartholomeo is located in the heart of Florence, with many historical sites within walking distance. The room is elegantly and comfortably decorated, with a clever blend of modern and traditional styles, making people feel warm and relaxing. I particularly like the hotel's terrace, which overlooks the beautiful scenery of Florence, especially at sunset, which is picturesque. The hotel's service is also very meticulous, and every employee is very enthusiastic and professional, making the stay experience more pleasant. This is an ideal place for travelers who want to immerse themselves in Florence's culture.

Far from the main attractions. The closest to San Marco is 20 minutes on foot, to Santa Maria Novella and San Lorenzo - half an hour. To Piazzale Michelangelo we went 20 minutes by bus (on foot - an hour). Quiet, calm area, lots of greenery, few people. Supermarket - within walking distance. Breakfasts are delicious. The staff is responsive. Once, when there was a very early excursion, we were offered a croissant and a cup of cappuccino, although there was still half an hour before breakfast - it was nice. I recommend it for those who are not embarrassed by long walks.

Quiet area, not far from the center. Nearby supermarket Esselunga (from the hotel through the crossroad). Very helpful staff (gave a knife, warmed up the pizza). The view from the window to the courtyard is amazingly beautiful! The breakfast is modest. You need to add a simple omelet. The yoghurts were past their expiration date. The fruits were not cut. The doors in the room are not soundproofed, you could hear the entire corridor. Overall, the stay was comfortable.

The room is well ventilated and well lit. The mattress is very comfortable and very relaxing. The environment is clean and hygienic, the service is considerate, and the Asian guy at the front desk is very patient in meeting the guests' requirements, which is a special thumbs up👍. The only drawback is that the luggage room is too small and there is only one shelf; the public rest and reading space is not clear enough. There is some space in the corridor of the female guest room on the second floor, but it does not seem to be open to all guests, especially male guests. There is also some reading space in the restaurant on the ground floor, but the division of labor is unclear, especially during meal time, and they interfere with each other, which needs to be improved.

A small hotel, it feels like a couple shop, clean and tidy service is very good, the boss will also send you a map to carefully help you mark where to play. It is a little worse to face the street, and the bath water pressure is a bit low. In the end, when we couldn't catch the train, the proprietress helped us call it. Thank you very much. The service attitude is really nothing to say. I am moved.
