A wonderful stay from start to finish. Very welcoming and friendly, felt like home from home. Doug and Rach ensured that our stay was everything we wanted it to be and offered their recommendations based on their local knowledge, including a walk to Ford Castle which is minutes away. The views out of the b&b were beautiful with a touch of snow and the local estate was stunning. With the b&b being part of a cafe, it was great to have our morning breakfast so easily accessible - breakfast was plentiful and fresh! The room itself was perfect, very well stocked with complementary extras, clean with extremely comfortable beds. Our 3 year old commented that her favourite part of her weekend was ‘the sleeping’! Can’t wait to return.

The hosts were very friendly and polite. The room we stayed in was large and the room was spotless. The breakfast consisted of porridge, yogurts, cereal, pastries and a cooked breakfast. They also run the Post Office,Tea Room and a little shop. Would definitely recommend and I will be returning.

Went for a short mid week break. Situated in a lovely small village near to English/Scottish border including lovely countryside and coastal locations. The hosts, Jennifer & Graham were very welcoming & friendly. The room we had was comfortable and clean with a lovely view across the village. Jennifers breakfast were brilliant- juice, cereal, pastries & full English breakfasts. Could not be faulted. We will certainly consider going back in the future. 5 star

Really clean & well maintained, wonderful breakfasts. Graham & Jenny can’t do enough for you. It’s an idyllic place with great pubs & restaurants. Ideal location for Berwick, Bamburgh, Holy Island & the Cheviots. Great for cycling & walking. Can’t wait for my next visit

Absolutely beautiful B&B. Lovely hosts who were extremely welcoming but also allowing us to enjoy our stay without too much fuss. Delicious breakfast, excellent room with lovely comfortable beds, toiletries and tea and coffee. Graham and Jennifer were the perfect hosts and would definitely return.

Great stay over the Bank Holiday weekend. Cycling the almost deserted fantastic roads of Northumberland and Scotland. Fantastic hosts and some great local pubs serving good food. Highlight being the Cheviot Tap Brewery. Will return again, many thanks to Jenny and Graham.

This is the second time we have stayed here. It’s such a lovely quiet place, the rooms are spacious, comfy bed and teas and coffee are available. The proprietors, who also run the shop, are absolutely outstanding, nothing is too much trouble Breakfasts are amazing. Cannot rate this B&B high enough, well worth a visit ❤️

A short two night stay for us. It’s was well worth every penny and it’s a bargain to start with. Fabulous hosts/owners and a lovely big bedroom and large bathroom. Both rooms were immaculate and lacking in nothing. The setting in the village is fabulous and the owners have a small coffee shop & post office attached which is also licensed to sell alcohol. Breakfast is superb, full English with cereals and toast plus little pastries and fresh fruit. Lots to visit around Ford. The Lady Waterford museum is great and free and there’s a small antiques shop too. We are hoping to go back very soon as there’s still things we didn’t see.
