Beautiful place and amazing staff couldn't be more helpful. An extra mention to the drivers who dropped us off and picked us up in Forio every day. A very special place La Mortella gardens is definitely worth a visit as is the Castello. Try the lemon pasta at La Bella Napoli

Lovely boutique hotel in the beautiful island of Ischia. High in the mountains reached by windy narrow roads. You have to rely on hotel shuttle or Antiono the local taxi driver to go anywhere. Hotel is very exclusive with only 13 rooms. Lovely spacious modern rooms with breathtaking views and spectacular sunsets. Modern bathroom with powerful showers. Decent breakfast and limited lunch menu and no evening restaurant. A few restaurants walking distance but otherwise you need taxi or shuttle to take you there. Keep your eyes closed and hold on tight! Hotel grows its own vegetables which they use for breakfast/lunch. Lovely friendly staff.

What an absolutely beautiful little hotel , the attention to detail ensuring you have the best holiday and relaxation. High up on its own it’s so quiet , plenty of space around the pool, views and sunsets are amazing. It is a very interesting road up to the hotel but adds to its charm, the free shuttle service is a bonus . This is a family run hotel , Francesco, Allesandro , Andrea & Claudia were the perfect hosts , caring , happy and friendly , as were other staff and the cleaning ladies . The breakfast was the best we’ve had in a long time at any hotel, and great coffee, thanks Andrea ! Well done to you all . We will certainly be back and recommend to everyone, you won’t be disappointed! Grazie Mille

Worth it for the views alone but there is so much more to this hotel than that. The staff are wonderful, making everyone feel welcome and comfortable. The room was gorgeous and the atmosphere really hospitable.

A hidden gem up the Forio hillside but worth the challenging drive. Best service (management is superb with fantastic recommendations), transfers and shuttles to Local area. Excellent massages. Loved our room inside and out. Views of ocean and sunset are hard to match. Will return!

Beautiful gem of a hotel
This hotel is a wonderful little gem with the sweetest, most attentive staff. I would stay again and again if I ever go to Ischia again — I wouldn’t even look at another option. It is on top of the hill above Forio, lush with lemon and orange trees and a beautiful pool. It has incredible views of the island and the bay and you will witness the most gorgeous sunsets. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. It was very easy to get down to Forio and back using the complimentary hotel shuttle, so we didn’t need a car. Ischia is very easy to travel around by bus, by the way. My one recommendation is to bring a sleeping mask to use for your stay if you need a dark room as the curtains let a lot of light through and there is a lighthouse that flashes its bright light across the bay all night long. I got used to it after the first night but I will bring a sleeping mask if I ever go again.

My girlfriend & I stayed here in July 2024. It was fantastic from the moment we arrived till the moment we left. The service was exceptional and generous, the food & drink were delicious, the setting was beautiful and peaceful. It is absolutely perfect for couples, super relaxing and the bedrooms were very spacious with comfy beds, modern furnishings and large bathrooms. We would absolutely go back, and have no hesitation recommending this place. Special thanks to Francesco, Alessandro, Andrea & Luis for top class service throughout. P.S the sunsets are mad !

Tenuta was a beautiful hotel to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet for a few days in the middle of a busy month long vacation. The staff was so friendly yet very professional. They offer full services except dinner but there are three nice restaurants within walking distance. We hope to go back someday.
