This place is a small, family owned hotel with a pool, a restaurant and is walking distance to bus stops, beaches, cafes, restaurants. I planned to stay one night but under the circumstances I stayed 5 nights. I was grateful they had a room for me last minute. I stayed in a small room with two twin beds and my only complaints was that my bed was so soft it hurt my back and the toilet ran the entire time. They offer breakfast and if you want an Italian dinner you have to order it earlier in the day. I cannot speak Italian and the staff cannot speak English, but communication was manageable and I really appreciated that.

Consiglio questo posto, signora super gentile ci ha trattati benissimo. L idea della piscina molto bella dopo il mare. Così si chiude al meglio la serata . Ottimo posto vicino al centro e collegato con tutta l’isola. Al mare abbiamo preferito andare in auto ma si può andare benissimo anche a piedi Grazie villa Mena !!

Qui con la mia compagna dal 13 al 21 agosto. La struttura e’ poco distante dal centro di Forio (800 metri) in posizione tranquilla. Abbiamo alloggiato in una camera vista patio con trattamento di mezza pensione. Le camere sono semplici e spaziose. Unico neo il bagno (finestrato) sicuramente da sistemare sia strutturalmente (per abbattere l’umidità) sia per i sanitari un po’ datati. La colazione è buona, con torte dolci, yogurt, frutta fresca e salato da ordinare al momento. Buona la cena, una cucina semplice e casereccia. Una nota di menzione ad Antonio, fratello di Concetta (la cuoca) che in sala è sempre stato cordiale e disponibile. Abbiamo pasteggiato con acqua, vino della casa e caffè di fine pasto. Spesa a testa pari a 100 euro al giorno. Il mercato alberghiero ad Ischia non è a buon mercato e non ci sono ‘bazze’, in questo senso la spesa è corretta. Noi siamo stati bene e lo consigliamo.

Allora a parere mio i prezzi sono troppo alti per il servizio di offrono, le camere sono molto molto molto datate, con arredamenti semplici e antichi, la colazione è semplice ma non vasta, molte cose essenziali mancano come la cioccolata a colazione. Bella la piscina, c’era anche idromassaggio merito disabile in quanto sporco è pieno di foglie. Per il resto il posto è tranquillo, ci sono le spiagge sia libere che private a meno di cinque minuti a piedi, noi abbiamo noleggiato un motorino ma sono tanti gli autobus che passano anche a alle ore notturne. Un’altra pecca è che noi avevamo la camera con vista mare, ma abbiamo avuto una camera con vista campo da calcio con persone che giocavano e urlavano a tutte le ore del giorno. Al nostro arrivo la camera sembrava abbastanza pulita, ma ad esempio in bagno e sui comodini c’era della polvere.

Arriviamo in struttura ci danno le chiavi della stanza entriamo stanza sporca ci fanno attendere un’ora per pulirla. La notte una puzza di fogna incredibile bisognava scaricare in continuazione. Stenditoio in comune con altre stanze se si tornava dal mare un po’ più tardi non c’era ne spazio ne mollette per stendere le asciugamani. Colazione misera e acqua calda al buffet. Servizio pessimo e personale a dir poco sgarbato! Rapporto qualità/prezzo fuori dal comune! Mai più!

Residence in posizione abbastanza strategica.Camere piccole e datate con materassi scomodissimi.Buona manutenzione degli spazi comuni.Colazione con poca varietà e scarsa qualità.Insomma un vorrei ma non posso con prezzi non adatti al servizio offerto.L'unica cosa da salvare è la dolcissima signora Mena.
