Pleasant place to stay with relaxing public areas and good food available in the evening and at breakfast , plus self catering facilities in a pleasant location, convenient for cycle route 78 and for Loch Ness cruises as well as the Caledonian canal. Good value for money and good cyle storage

Love this hostel, the staff are so welcoming and the facilities awesome. It’s in a great spot, but be advised it is up a short but quite steep pathway. Only about 300m from the bus stop, not much further to the canal and Loch Ness. I had the evening meal which was very good value and tasty.

Some of the friendliest staff I've ever encountered, they bend over backwards to assist you. Rooms were lovely and clean, showers nice and hot the views from the hotel are fabulous. Self catering kitchen included with free tea and coffee. I'd rate 10 stars if I could. Highly recommend staying here !!!

It is a lovely wee hostel, in a great location, Fort Augustus is a gorgeous place. We had dinner and breakfast at the hostel and both meals were really good. The place is clean and warm and the staff are really lovely and friendly. I would recommend Morag’s and I’ll be back!

I found Morag's Lodge to carry a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly, polite, and kind. I requested an early check-in, and this was absolutely no problem for them at all. They were more than happy to accommodate it. This is also one of the more affordable options if you're visiting Fort Augustus, and I can highly recommend it. A wonderful place to stay! The only thing I could possibly complain about is the wifi, which was so terrible that it might as well not have been there in the first place. But, I think a lot of us can do with some time off-grid.

I really did enjoy my stay at Morag's Lodge. It's near everything interesting in Fort Augustus, has clean and good facilities. The personel is very friendly and helpful, the beds are comfortable and it's nice and warm. You can even get a good cooked dinner on site (which I did not use, but might, some other day). There is a rather basic shop in the village and the kitchen is well equipped so it's no problem if you choose to cook your own meal. I would surely visit again, and for a longer time.

Really good, clean accommodation, comfy beds, loads of hopt water, excellent breakfast for £6 extra, thanks indeed. Easy access, good car park and location. I would stay again if in the area. Didn't se the monster on Loch Ness though!.......
