This place is the meaning of hidden gem!!! Service from Lien and Pat was outstanding. Couldn’t ask for better hosts! Location. Right in the heart of the beach area literally 3 minutes from beach and 30 seconds to restaurants but super quiet. Free parking as well. Hotel. Rooms are rustic but very clean. Fridge, and small kitchen. Bbq for guests to use which was great as we cooked dinner in one night. Has a great Florida feel to the property as beautiful gardens. Simple complementary breakfast each morning to Overlooking the water way, we did see a couple of manatees. Plus the two pools were so nice to sit and relax in. We loved the upstairs room as quiet and lovely sitting on balcony

The ground floor room had a door that did not seal and a bathroom window without a lock. The room door went directly outside. Floors were dirty, walls and ceiling had flaking paint from water damage and mold. Bedspread had stains. Bugs in the bathroom.

Wir hatten einen traumhaften Aufenthalt (1 Woche) im Manatee Bay Inn, welches super zentral gelegen ist (Restaurants, Bars und der Strand von FMB waren zu Fuß erreichbar, das Hotel ist aber trotzdem ruhig und in einer Seitenstraße gelegen). Wir waren 3 Personen. Meine Frau, meine Mutter und ich. Meine Frau und ich hatten das tolle Apartment #5, meine Mutter das Apartment #2. Die Zimmer sind wirklich gut gepflegt und sauber. Abends kann man sich noch sehr schön auf den Balkon oder in den Innenhof des Hotels bei den 2 Pools setzen. Der Ausblick von unserem Apartment (über die Lagune, siehe Foto) war einfach klasse. Tagsüber kam sogar eine Manatee-Familie in die Lagune um unsHallo zu sagen. Das war schon klasse. Das Frühstück wird von den Eigentümern selbst zubereitet und ist mit frischem Obst, Müsli, selbstgemachter Marmelade, Brot, gekochtem Ei vollkommen ausreichend. Ich möchte mich an dieser Stelle bei Lien, ihrem Mann und dem süßen Hund bedanken, die unseren Aufenthalt wirklich schön gemacht haben. Ich war mit meiner Frau mittlerweile schon 13x in Florida und dieses Hotel hat uns in FMB bis jetzt am besten gefallen. Wir würden dieses Hotel definitiv weiterempfehlen und kommen auch gerne wieder!
