Waterscape Condominiums

This place is beautiful! Undated, clean and has all the amenities. Book the trip! You won’t regret it. Supplies wagon for beach, chairs, umbrellas, stocked kitchen, linens and all you need. Danica is wonderful to deal with. Such an amazing vacation.

We stayed in A 212 January and February 2025 at Waterscape. Average stay, with the positives as we booked via Vacasa, were the people at the front desk, security staff, and the parking amenities. Close to the beach and area activities. Unit A 212 was average. In the past we have given top notch reviews. Owners need to keep track of their units better and ensure maintenance is acknowledged and turned in to be fixed. Anyone who stays just a week or so will most likely not take the time to report issues. We had several issues we reported and taken care of. One glaring issue was the stuck exhaust fan in the master bathroom. Maintenace fixed it within a day, but you could observe it had been "frozen" from corrosion for a long time. We reported 9 items from light bulbs out to closet doors not staying on the hinges to dishwasher issues. Microwave has paint chipped off the inside. We suggested it be replaced due to its looks but was not. Washer/dryer are probably original and are very noisy. Mattress in the master bedroom worn out. This was our 14th year at Waterscape, and we did not book for next year. Rates and what we call many "added" costs are making it less cost effective. Added costs after the rate, include booking fees, assigned loss and damage fee of $200 (most likely Snowbirds report the issues, and did not cause them as we did), amenity fee, parking fee, insurance if you get it, and another fee. From the base rate, your total charges would be over 45%-55% higher. Several Snowbirds we talked too would be looking elsewhere or not coming again due to much higher costs. Yes, owners' costs go up, but offseason is that, off season. We estimated Waterscape was only about 25% or so booked. January weather is not good in this part of Fl, okay, but not good. Best part was the security and parking.

This is an amazing resort in Ft.Walton Beach on Okaloosa Island. We stayed in A604. It has two masters each with a huge tub and big shower! There is also a bunk room. Each room has a tv as well! This condo is rented out by Coastal Vibes. There is a big balcony with fantastic views of the beach and all of the amenities.. lazy river, tiki bar/restaurant, workout facility and multiple pools! We enjoyed the high top table and chairs on the balcony and the beach chairs and umbrella are included! Beautiful beach!!

We had an excellent time at Waterscape. We have never stayed at a condo before but it exceeded our expectations. We were on the top floor close to the water. It was a short distance to the beach and pools. All of the pools were perfect for our little family. The kiddos loved it so much! Especially the lazy river and the Lily pads. I was amazed at how clean the facilities remained all week. A lot of families were here during this time and the place stayed spotless. There were security officers that you would see walking the facilities. I felt very safe walking to the pool or beach by myself. The condo itself was lovely. It was very well kept and updated. We went through Coastal Vibe vacations. They had wonderful customer service. The only issues that we had, were there wasn’t a lot of cooking utensils. The ones that were there were ancient and falling apart or plastic and flimsy. I almost spilled a pot of boiling water due to the loose handle. I do not expect having fancy cookware but functioning and not rusted would be great. Another issue we had was with how people save chairs at the pool or beach all day with their belongings early in the morning. Every chair would be taken and no one around. There would be plenty of chairs if people used them when they actually needed them. There needs to be guidelines put into place with this. Other than those issues the place is wonderful. The elevators work great, nice and cool ac and enough buggys to load and unload luggage. Just didn’t last long enough 🥹

A227: Danica was a tremendous host with excellent communication before and during our stay. The first day I messed up and locked myself out of the room and she responded immediately to help get me back in. My wife and I had our 15,9,7,3, and 1 year old on A227 and they all had a blast. The room was just a short walk to the toddler area that the 1 and 3 year old really enjoyed. The 7 and 9 year old loved the pool with the lily pads the best, and the 15 year old loved the beach and hot tubs the most. We had one minor issue with the bathroom fan being abnormally loud and no way to turn off since it is automatic with the humidity. Danica sent a maintenance person the next day and had the noise from the fan decreased and it was so much quieter. The room was very clean! The whole condo was also very kid friendly. We didn’t have to worry too much about the 1 and 3 year old breaking things since everything was pretty kid proof. There were tons of toys for the kids to take to the beach that Danica provides in a big toy box along with extra beach chairs to take to the beach. Waterscape is a very family friendly environment. We enjoyed meeting and talking to other families at the pool and beach. This was our second time staying in A227 and had another wonderful experience.

We stayed in unit A 410 from late Nov 2023 to first week of March 2024. Very nice condo. Two bedrooms with bunk room, kitchen, 2.5 baths, and living room. Nice TV selections and WIFI was very fast in this unit. Unit A 410 was remodeled in early 2023. This was our 14th consecutive year at Waterscape as Snowbirds, thus indicates how much we like Waterscape. The covered parking garage is a great amenity, especially when storms come in and there is wind and hail. Security if 24/7 is good. Easy beach access to why you come to the Gulf Coast. Very nice swimming pools and lazy river. Well maintained and kept clean in all common areas. We booked via Vacasa which operates the front desk and provided us outstanding customer service. Easy if you have any condo issues to contact the front desk if you book via Vacasa, otherwise contact the rental company you booked via. We have booked for next year.
