I only stayed at this hotel for two nights during a tour of Germany in September 1998, but for some reason this hotel stuck with me. What I remember most is that across the road from the entrance there is a field with small trees. This created the feeling that the hotel was not in one of the largest cities in Germany, but somewhere outside the city. There are no dense buildings around the hotel, so the room was very light and sunny. I was immediately checked into my room, the staff was very friendly. The hotel's hallways, corridors, and elevators were new and clean (it actually felt like the hotel had recently opened). It is located far from the historical city center, but there are two metro stations nearby (within walking distance). My room was not very large, but it was furnished with modern new furniture and new plumbing was used in the bathroom. My bed linen was new and clean, a little colorful (not completely white). The window of my room overlooked the above fields. Breakfast was a buffet, but did not have much variety, but was tasty. I remember this hotel and would happily stay there again if given the opportunity.
