Relish on a mile or two peaceful stroll, surrounded by farms to the end of the cul-de-sac. 10 minutes from Smith Mountain Lake, 15 minutes to Rocky Mount. 10 minutes to Blackwater Junction and the Salt Spa. Within 20 minutes of Copper Cove Golf Course & Waters Edge Golf Course. 18minutes to Harvester Performance Center, 10 minutes to Magnum Point Marina. Fun Getaway!
My husband and I stayed for a few days between Christmas and New Years. Although the weather was not ideal, we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation! The rooms were very comfortable and spacious, the kitchen was perfectly equipped for cooking the delicious local produce, and the bathroom was luxurious. Everyone we met was extremely friendly and we loved learning about the farm. We would look forward to staying here again or visiting the other BNB location at Smith Mountain. Thanks to the hosts for allowing us to stay with you!!

Camp Bachlorette
We stayed here for my daughter's bachlorette weekend with her two friends and we had a really nice time!! Katherine even came down so we could pet the horses! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our cozy, mostly stay in, weekend. Thank you!!

Beautiful weekend getaway
My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Happy Rooster. The home and property were clean and nicely kept & we enjoyed seeing the chickens in the morning. We were looking forward to seeing the horses and sheep but other then that we loved every part of our visit.
