Nice Homely place just far enough away from the main town. Good size room with a nice veranda area. Attentive staff and manager to make sure your stay is pleasant. Would recommend this place.

Maison D'Ail is a charming property with a homely relaxed atmosphere. We were aarmly welcomed by Julie and showed us our spaciuos rooms. Julie ordered a taxi so we got to our wine tram appointment. Our vehicles were safely parked on the premises with additional space on the quiet road that is Reservoir Street. Breakfast was served on the veranda, the choice of fruit and cold meats was a delight. The cooked breakfast including omelettes was wonderful. We used Uber to and from town but you could walk there and get an Uber back. Would stay there again and recommend to anyone visiting Franschoek.

We were met early by Corna to allow us to leave our car and luggage. The whole accommodation was excellent, great views from the balconies and topped off with a freshly prepared breakfast of our choice the morning after. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

if you are looking for really clean accommodation, this is the place to stay. the rooms are small but very clean, and the bed and bed linen smell like new. Corna was extremely helpful and friendly, many thanks to her! There were a few organisational problems, such as the fact that there was no still water on hot days or that as a vegan you don't really have a choice at breakfast, but that's a matter of taste. Maison d'Ail is an absolutely gorgeous property!! Our room was huge and just divine! The property feels so homely. Lush surroundings. Beautiful large kitchen and dining area, open for guests to walk around. Lovely pool area. Perfect location and 5 mins drive from the Wine Tram. Very lovely hosts!!
