"A good choice as a stop after a day's drive up north along the west coast highway and after a walk around Lake Matheson at the dusk. The motel is easy to locate. Kitchen is well-layout and it will be super if there is an electric stove and pots. The bathroom will be more use-friendly if some hooks are installed on the wall for towels and clothings."

"A beautiful area just outside of Franz Josef. It's nearby the road, so you may get some traffic noise. Other than that, it was a quiet and restful night there. We could see the milky way at night! We had a studio, so no kitchen but a microwave was available. There's a laundry as well. Wifi was good. The manager was very friendly and allowed us to fill out campervan with water."
