The Pines at Meadow Ridge in Fraser/Winter Park Colorado is a great home base for winter activities in the area. We stayed one week over the holiday and skied/snowboarded for 5 of the 7 days. We had a blast and the Winter Park shuttle bus (free) stopped right in front of our unit. That was a bonus. It runs basically every half hour. The unit was just fine....not a fancy resort like the Mexico resorts through RCI, but perfectly fine to nestle in for a long winter nap (or a week of winter fun). The unit was clean, neat, and aptly furnished. The beds were newer and comfortable. Everything worked fine. We would definitely stay there again.

My family enjoyed a great stay at The Pines at Meadow Ridge. We had a 2 bedroom 2 Bath condo with a fireplace. The units are not new or fancy but the bathrooms and kitchen had newer fixtures & appliances and the entire condo was spotless. The beds & furniture were in good condition and also very clean. The mattress on the sofa bed is too thin to be comfortable for a grown adult but will be fine for kids. The community center that you have access to, has great exercise equipment, a steam room, ping-pong table, two large outdoor spas/hot tubs and a heated pool. The area is just outstanding. We were in a downstairs unit but still had a nice view of the mountains from our patio sliding doors. The condos are just 2 miles from Winter Park and all that the resort has to offer. Plenty of hiking and biking trails in the area. I highly recommend staying at the Pines at Meadow Ridge.

The furniture was outdated and some chairs smelled like urine. The coffee maker was somewhat broken, the next day we were given a replacement. The replacement was entirely broken. I could just go on and on.

Fireplace use is not allowed. Dogs are not allowed. TV is very basic and not connected to the internet. Housekeeping is only available with a very expensive upcharge. This property has decined a lot in the past decade or so.

The place has a 1970s feel with bare minimum provided, some of which would not even work. The kettle leaked, it had to be held over th sink to make tea. Coffe maker was 100 years old, broken in parts and coffee provided was a terrible, cheapest pouch you could probably find. Cannot imagine cooking in that kitchen. Furniture and beds as old as the place itself. Mattresses on beds as hard as rocks. No streaming on TV, some lights in our unit also were not working. The worst thing still -checkout is at 9 am. I don't think I ever saw a check out this early anywhere else in the world. Although the place operates as if it were a hotel, you only get a voicemail when you call them at the number provided. Yet the bombard you with automated text messages wishining you a great stay.

Clean, comfy and cozy accommodations. Great location in the heart of Fraser with amazing views of the mountains. Conveniently located next a supermarket and several outdoor attractions including Winter Park Ski Resort.

The Winter Park Resort is my least favorite ski resort since I have been skiing for the past 38 years. the 2 towns closest to the resort have limited restaurants with good menus and Monday and Tuesdays a lot of the restaurants are closed. Wifi driving instructions are not good and the roads in Fraser are not well maintained during the week we were there. Only hae front wheel drive and had to be pushed out of road area 2 times that was not maintained well.

The units are very 'outdated' looking inside with dark paneling, plate-ware, cups and stove. The outdoor garbage bins are surrounded by old wood and there is a lot of hooks and chains to maneuver to get to the dumpster before putting your trash in them!

My husband and I drove from Idaho to Colorado to spend time with our daughter and son-in-law and granddaughter and celebrated her 6th BD. We drove 9 hrs. but they only had to drive 2 hrs. Was a nice 2 bedroom condo. Full kitchen. Fireplace.
