Perfect getaway only a couple of hours from home. Enjoyed the cabin, which was well equipped for all our needs, and wood stove that came with a bundle of wood was a treat. Beds and sofa bed were used and no neck or back complaints from anyone. We had 4 cabins in total and everyone was very happy. We plan to return.

What an amazing place to stay at! We stayed in our RV and used the indoor pool and hot tubs. The amenities including the washrooms and showers were cleaned and well maintained. The store had great items to purchase and the staff were absolutely lovely to chat with, you can tell they very much value people who stay there. We will definitely stay in the cabins too and take advantage of the outdoor pool and hot tub in the summer.

It looked so inviting, a liquor store, indoor and outdoor pool. We got there on Friday at 6pm. There were no stores open, pool outside was emptied and we had no pass codes to the indoor pool. We couldn't buy firewood and learned about membership privileges. We did not know this ahead of time. The scenery was lovely but now that we have learned about this membership thing - despite paying for staying for the night, we will choose elsewhere next time.

This place was very nice and super laid back. They have many amenities and their pools and hot tubs are inside and outside so you can have your pick. I was the only one in the pool area for the night and they had awesome classic rock music playing around the pool. Was just a nice place to unwind. We have stayed here before and will keep coming back.

On August 19th I had an accident. My finger got caught in the awning. My wife went down to the office and the woman at the desk said she would call the Volunteer Firefighters. Brian and Tag and a third fellow, unfortunately I don't know his name, he wrote up the particulars on the medical form. Brian made sure that the ambulance was called and they all made us feel calm. We really appreciate the care we received and the kindness of the staff. The hospital in Hope took care of us and even paid for the taxi back to the park. We stayed at Sunshine Valley Resort from August 8-23. We love staying at Sunshine Valley Resort. Per and Jane Fabricius

Good location if you are a biker or ride quads etc. otherwise not a lot to do. over-priced if you go through their website - use a third party site for cheaper rates - upto 1/2 price! Cabins are getting tired and need updating but reasonably clean. Dusty gravel roads. Barbara at reception was verging on rude - sets the tone for the place. Would not recommend unless biking orATVing.

First of all, it is a very beautiful place and we have stayed here before, but this time there seem to be no control on the barking dogs as well as the people partying until well after midnight. Last time we stayed here it was quite quiet and we enjoyed our stay I think they should be more Diligent with the people that like to come in and make all sorts of noise they need to enforce the quiet time. We have read the rules and nobody here last night was abiding by them so this time we were very disappointed.

We have stayed at the cabin at Sunshine Valley Resort in June 2024. I find it very hard to call that accommodation a “cabin”. It was more like a mansion!!! A beautiful large house with a spacious living room/kitchen and a very nice size separate bedroom. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything that you can think of, including coffee/tea/sugar. The living room had a TV, a nice couch, and a wood stove, and wood was supplied!! There was also a fire pit outside the cabin, as well as a table with benches. The bathroom had soap/shampoo/conditioner, towels, and a hairdryer! It was pretty much a hotel room with all the amenities that you can wish for! Front patio provided 2 lounge chairs and a table. Everything was exceptionally clean and very well maintained, including the site itself. Last but not the least, the resort manager Joanne Taylor was an exemplary hostess – something that you don’t come across too often these days. She and the other gentleman whose name I haven’t caught (unfortunately) had made us feel very welcome at that resort. Right after checking out we have booked two more stays at Sunshine Valley. It is a great place, and I would highly recommend it to everybody.
