Comfortable family room, with separate area on a higher level for children's beds. Good value at £96 per night. Only 5 miles from central Cologne, just outside the emissions zone, and cheap and easy to travel into Cologne and back by train/bus.

Short overnight stay here, close to the Halle Tor exhibition for the Star Wars Convention. Totally meets our expectations, 101€ per room for 3. Breakfast at 10€50 per person extra. Comfortable room, be careful, small bathroom. Very good bedding. Classic but complete breakfast at will, note the homemade fruit salad, pineapple 🍍 and mango included! And to go to town Tram nearby in 20 minutes!

Being looking for a hotel close to Phantasialand (so that we could spend the night there before our day at the park), our choice fell on the B&B Köln-Frechen. We already knew this chain following our numerous stays at the B&B at Disneyland Paris. With a price of €97 for a family room, we didn't hesitate too much knowing that the price of nearby hotels was very high. The check in went very well. We were also lucky enough to have a receptionist who spoke French very well. We had the very pleasant surprise of having a family room which consisted of a standard room with a double bed but also a mezzanine bedroom with two single beds. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet (our room was at the end of the corridor on the 3rd floor). Only small downside: the extremely cramped bathroom. We have added breakfast at check-in. Cost: €10.50 per person. Also satisfied at this level: very good rolls and pretzels, various yogurts, cheeses and cold meats, jams, cereals, etc. and many products are certified organic. This allowed us to eat well (in peace because there were very few of us) before starting our day at the park. We will not hesitate to return!

Zum zweiten Mal ein wenig enttäuscht. Wir blieben wieder eine Nacht, weil wir zum Konzert waren. Toilette Zimmer 405 mini klein, keine Abluft, der Geruch geht sofort ins sogenannte Wohnzimmer. Abwaschbare Wand am Bett befleckt, Tisch unter dem Fenster nicht abgewischt…war klebrig eklig. Habe es sofort der Rezeption gemeldet…naja diese will es weitergeben. B&B zum ersten Mal in Oldenburg gebucht und das war perfekt, sehr sauber. Aber Köln? Dieses nicht mehr.
