Barons Creekside if your looking for something unique and special Barons Creekside is it. They have a two bedroom home that was moved to the property from the town that we stayed in with another couple which was very roomy and nice. They also have other options of log cabins and even a covered wagon. One mile from downtown Fredericksburg. Check it out.

Delightful evening tonight at The Club! Everything was good… service, food, drinks! Mila was our server, she did a great job! Thanks! The food we ordered was all good: wedge salad, gumbo, NY ***** and the burger. There was a problem with an over-cooked steak, but Mila had that solved in 10 minutes. Bernie Martini at the piano was so fun! Great music enjoyed by all. We were even treated to an Alp Horn performance by the owner, Daniel! We sampled the house wine, and enjoyed a nice white from Daniel’s native Switzerland, then a bottle of bubbles from Italy (most of that we brought home!) LOL A very enjoyable evening, we’d go back for sure!

We keep coming back to this wonderful peaceful place owned by just as wonderful people. Not enough praise can be said about spending some days in this rural piece of paradise. We can highly recommend Barons Creekside. We have been coming some days every second month since 2021

Best therapy you can give yourself! The cabins are top notch clean, quiet, comfortable and cozy. There's no need to seek out entertainment as the onsite wildlife and club offers a spectacular time, but for the adventurous types, hiking trails and downtown glitz is less than two miles away! We've been vacationing at Barron's Creekside for over 15 years now and just when we think it can't possibly get any better it gets better! If we could stay forever we would! Big thanks to the owners for treating us like family and making our stay enjoyable. XOXOXO

We’re currently in Baron’s Log Cabin & absolutely love this little piece of Heaven on Earth! We had our intimate wedding on the property 12/27/16 & come back every yr (8 cabins in 8 yrs)! Each cabin is perfect and so are the owners, Daniel&Deb!

The owners are absolutely rude. Owners sent very awful text messages. I would never recommend this place. The place was so cold and only one heated blanket for four beds. Smelled bad and blankets and beds dirty. Please do not stay here. It is awful

Excellent place to stay. The Owners have thought of everything. The Swiss cabins are unique and so cozy! There is a club on site with food, drinks and live music. Wildlife abounds! We saw ducks, deer, cats and even a porcupine! Their hospitality is another reason that keeps us coming back year after year.

Booked a last minute stay at CreekSide. Wasn’t sure what to expect and we loved it! Immaculate property and the cabin is so clean and secluded yet only minutes away from Main Street. Zug sits at the end of the road and is like a little oasis. From coffee on the front porch to late night under the stars it was an amazing stay. If you get a chance you gotta stay here.
