It is about five kilometers from the city center and is economical and OK for one night. The room is very clean and the hotel staff is friendly. If you want to experience the style of the old city, it is recommended to stay in the city center!

Our room was in the guest house and was roomy and had a balcony. The kitchenette was a nice bonus. Breakfast was ok, but not outstanding. The EVC was great but they need an additional one plus more parking is needed since we parked in the adjacent field one night. The location is odd; behind a gas station and in front of the train tracks. Ear plugs were provided though so that helped. The tram stop is across the street which is convenient but due to ongoing construction the schedule was limited. There really isn’t anything within walking distance so you need to drive/taxi/bus into the center of town. Overall our stay was pleasant however and we would stay here again.

I knew this hotel where I had stayed many years ago, I must say that it never disappoints me, we had a mini apartment, a huge room, very clean, super comfortable with air conditioning, windows on 2 sides, with a very comfortable kitchenette, fridge and small balcony. The hotel is in a strategic point, just outside the center of Freiburg, the supermarket is across the road, the petrol station under the hotel, the tram 2 steps away. I will choose it again when we return to Europapark which is just 40 minutes away. Congratulations to the staff, excellent structure.

Convenient hotel to reach by car and an excellent starting point for tours in the surrounding area (it is also immediately behind a petrol station which does not cause any problems and is in fact convenient for buying small things for breakfast). Freiburg city center can be easily reached in 10 minutes by tram. We had a large, spacious and perfectly clean room.

I really had a very pleasant time and the rooms are great. However, there are 4 points of criticism that are not right in my opinion! 1) it is 2022 and the hotel is not able to provide vegan milk. We are talking about a maximum purchase price of 2€ and even asking for it 3 days in a row, the hotel did not take care of the needs of its guests. Basically there were no vegan alternatives at breakfast. NO GO 2) WiFi is super bad or not working at all 3) I came for a conference in the exhibition hall and the hotel's website explains very well how to get from the main station to the hotel etc. and advertises how well connected it is. However, the tram is being renovated and the hotel is no longer well connected at all (45 minutes from the main station, 30 minutes to the exhibition center). The hotel can't do anything about it, of course, but how about simply telling guests something like this during the booking process? 4) You have to state your nationality when checking in.

Visited this hotel in Freiburg for the first time. The room was easy to access with a walker, as was the bathroom. Our room was very pleasant with a balcony and a view of the green lawn. 200 - 300 m behind a small row of trees and a freight railway line. It didn't bother us at night as the room had a blind. The breakfast is highly recommended. Everything is freshly prepared: eggs, salmon, cold cuts and cheese, 3 x yoghurt, oatmeal, various breads, etc. A coffee or a cappuccino that tastes good, a sparkling wine or juice, everything your heart desires. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Freiburg.

Ich bin seit Jahren hier Gast und immer sehr zufrieden . Zweckmäßige, große und saubere Zimmer, eine Flasche Wasser steht immer da und eine sehr gutes Frühstück. Die Lage nicht ganz so toll, aber dies weiß man ja vor der Buchung. Das Personal freundlich.
