Upside: Spotless, comfortable rooms, (iron / ironing board included 👍), friendly personal throughout, late night bar 👍. This was our second stay here & would return again. Downside: Not enough parking spaces for guests & difficult to find nearby spaces.

The room was reasonably clean, but the air quality was very bad. Upon entering, there was already a strong, unpleasant smell, and it only got worse overnight—even with the air conditioning on the highest setting. It was difficult to open the window properly because the bed was in the way, and being on the ground floor right next to the train station didn’t feel safe. Not a comfortable stay.

The room offered nothing extraordinary but everything essential - a clean, well-maintained space with a comfortable mattress that ensured a good night's sleep. We stayed in this hotel for one night during a road trip through southern Germany. The room price was very competitive, and we felt very comfortable there during our stay. The beds especially gave us a great sleeping experience. The location is a 15-20 minute walk into the downtown area, but it felt safe even after dark. We would definitely return here if we're in Freiburg again.
