My favorite place to end my visits to Germany. Close to Munich airport for early morning flights. Right on the main street of Freising with lots of shopping and dining. Weihenstephan Biergarten a lovely walk from town through their gardens overlooking town. All rooms spacious, clean and modern. AC available, which is nice in summer. Excellent buffet breakfast with early 6am start. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking on-site but there is a small fee. Elevator available. Will continue to stay.

We stayed in Freising because it was a short bus ride to the Munich airport and we had already spent time in Munich. The hotel and location were perfect. We arrived around 2 pm, our room was ready, and the gentleman that checked us in gave us great restaurant recommendations. We shopped and ate along the street right in front of the hotel. It was a fabulous day. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good.

I don’t remember if I’ve previously submitted a review, so I’m forwarding one again now. My room was quite small and dark, despite it being classified as a deluxe room. In room dining phone order was unprofessional and poor communication. The reception team were not overly friendly and always too busy. The concierge team were much better. The hotel lobby felt like Grand Central station and I didn’t feel I was getting personalized service. The rooftop breakfast was very good as well as the pool. I would, however, probably not return to stay as there are many other 5 star hotels in Munich which are smaller and provide a higher level of individualised service.
