Property Description
Attached to a yarn store, this place is a crafters dream come true. Located on Main St in the utterly charming town of Frostburg, MD our spot will give you access to all of the best parts of Frostburg. With four separate bedrooms encompassing 7 beds, this massive property sleeps 13; added to that are two kitchens, two full bathrooms, and plenty of living space. We've designed this as an escape, perfectly curated to allow you the ample crafting time you've been missing in your daily life. The Knit Inn is the epitome of central, the trail is just down the hill, the Palace (our local movie theater) is just up the hill (everything here involves a hill). Some of my other top downtown favorites are the best little local book store of all time, an Italian bakery, a chocolatier, and an apothecary. You'll love it here. Main Street Books - Huge book store with a wonderful selection of gifts. Go here if you need to find something to bring home. Lorenzo's - This charming bakery carries an array of Italian baked goods. My particular favorites are the chocolate chocolate sandwich cookies, apple bread, and blueberry donuts. Clatter - If you're a person who really loves coffee, ignore all of the other coffee spots in town and head here. Bonus points, the interior is as beautifully curated as the menu. Cauldron Vintage - Michelle, the proprietor has an eye. Her prices are also stellar. Go buy yourself a new pair of pants - vintage denim is in. Princess - On it's 4th generation owner, this local staple is like stepping back in time. You can even sit in the booth President Truman ate in! This place is the supreme king of diner food; their milkshakes were absolutely the culprit for my excessive pregnancy weight gain, lol. Dig Deep - The second location for our local Cumberland brewery, this place is downright cool. Go for the ambiance, have a flight, and give their food a shot (it's surprisingly awesome). If you're here over a weekend, check out their listing of shows. They've always got great bands playing.z Frostburg is a really quaint small town and totally walkable. The ice cream shop on the way out of town is less than a mile away, and that's the farthest business from us. That being said, we are a town in the mountains, and everything requires a hill. You'll survive it, but you might be a little winded. Main Street parking is readily available, but you can't leave your car on the street all night long. There is also a public parking lot: Behind the library (large black arch that says parking on main street) Behind the Catholic Chruch off Uhl street Behind Wholesome Harvest off Water Street)About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About events:Events allowed: family gatherings, birthday parties, weddings.Maximum event attendees: 20.

Rail bike trip for 70th bday Six adults and 1 toddler felt very comfortable in the Knit Inn. The inn is charming and we appreciated all the details and decor. I loved all the glassware! We also thought the Chandeliers and light fixtures plus fan-deiliers were very cool. The frame tvs were neat. We appreciated the free parking and how close the train depot and restaurants were to the inn.

Cozy and comfortable We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Knit Inn. It was very well- decorated and well-stocked. Our only complaint was the floors were a bit dirty; we decided to keep our shoes on during our stay. But the bedding, towels, counters, etc were all very clean!

Great for the Trak and Yak trip This place is super close to the Trak and Yak trip which we were in town for. It was a great location right in the middle of town. The only complaint would be the three window AC units did not cool the whole house. At least the evenings were cool to open the windows. Would stay there again, but would bring a fan for the king size bedroom that did not have a window unit.
