I checked in with 5 points, and the service attitude is super good! Good price! It's very spacious for a family to stay and experience the Japanese home environment, with all the pots and pans available! It’s just that the bedding is so mediocre that I can’t sleep soundly!

Cottage Tozawa Center is located marvelously right opposite Mount Fuji. Cottage Tozawa Center is somewhere in between Kawaguchiko town center and Oishi town centre. Best location because we could see all the fireworks in the living room. The unit E1 has the best view, I think. One can sit in the living room or bedroom or balcony comfortably to admire Mount Fuji.
It would be more convenient for tourists who drive. No meals provided. Have to prepare futon by yourself. May rent a place for camping, which would be quite a unique experience during both winter and summer.
It's a hidden gem because it is lesser known among international tourists.

The hotel is near the picturesque place with the view on Fuji. It’s 10 minutes walk to the bus station. And you’re given all the stuff you need (towels, coffe, tea, etc)

A very nice guesthouse-style hotel with relatively large rooms compared to traditional Japanese hotels. It’s very convenient for self-driving, with a parking lot right downstairs. From the left side of the window, you can catch a distant view of a corner of Mount Fuji. Great value for the price. However, there is one downside: the shower water flow is inconsistent, alternating between strong and weak, hot and cold throughout the day, as mentioned in other reviews. Hopefully, this issue can be improved soon.

Excellent location, just a few minutes walk from Kawaguchiko Station. The room was spacious with a tatami bed and a bunk bed, it can comfortably sleep 3 people. There is also an air purifier in the room. The bathroom and toilet are shared, they are spotless.

There weren't many word of mouth on the net, and it was cheap and uneasy, but is there such a good pension? I am so satisfied that I think! ☺️
Pet available, dinner breakfast, hot spring rental free cospa is too good.
The meal was also very delicious like a luxury hotel dish.
Coffee is also delicious.
The hot spring was also pleasant. Face wash, shampoo and body soap were also available! The water pressure in the shower is also satisfactory.
Because it was petable, I had the smell of the room or anxiety, but it was a very beautiful room without smell at all.
The downside was that I could hear the snoring voice in the next room.
I will go to stay again!

AAnonymous UserSuper friendly staff, ryokan style rooms are clean with a great view of Fujisan when you open the window! Its right across from Kawaguchiko Station so super convenient to travel around and find shops, Kawaguchiko lake, restaurants, and there is also a public hot bath for you to enjoy as well! The bathroom and showers are shared but I don't find any problem with my two nights stay. Will definitely be back again!

GGuest UserThe surrounding environment is very good, the house is also very good, and the hot spring is also very comfortable. But the most regrettable thing is that the experience is very poor. You can only pick up from the station at a specified time. There are basically no cars around, no public transportation, and no bicycle rental. We walked to the door for 30 minutes in the rain without an umbrella because it was only two o'clock and there was still an hour before we could check in. As a result, it was too cold at two and a half, and we were soaking wet. When we rang the doorbell, there was someone inside. The reception lady saw that we were soaking wet and did not let us check in half an hour in advance. We couldn't say anything about this, after all, we could only enter at three o'clock, but I think anywhere in China, seeing two people soaking wet and raining, without any means of transportation to go somewhere else temporarily, she was unmoved, took out the translator to tell me what time we could check in, I took the initiative to ask if it was convenient to borrow an umbrella, put down the backpack, and we went to find food somewhere else, and she said yes. Then we asked if we could order dinner? Or breakfast the next day? She said there was no such service. We also expressed our understanding. After all, it is a private homestay, and maybe people don't want to cook and don't want to provide this service recently. But we saw some reviews that we could order meals, so we chose such a remote place. Considering that they have a curfew, that is, to return to the hotel before the specified time, we went back at night and used the hot spring to drive away the fatigue. However, when we were in the living room, we found that they were hosting local Japanese people for dinner and opened the door of the restaurant next door. We thought that maybe they booked early? Can they book? There was nothing until here. The next morning, we were going to take a walk in the nearby woods. When we went downstairs to make tea in the public area, we found that customers in several rooms were enjoying breakfast in the warm restaurant, while we were making tea in the public area and going upstairs to eat breakfast at the convenience store. The contrast of this picture still can't help but point out the theme of being unfriendly to Chinese people. If the platform in China must provide equal services, there is no reason to explain this partiality. It is just conveyed through the translator that we do not have a meal ordering service. It is really annoying. The house is very comfortable, but the way it is run is too jaw-dropping. Thinking of this matter in the past two months, I must share it. Chinese people should not go to this place and must avoid it. It is no longer a question of human touch. It is also recommended that the platform review whether this hotel can be released.

There’s a normal kitchen table you can use, and little lockers (with key) if you want to deposit small items near the reception.
Washer and dryer are each available for use at a fixed charge (300 yen each, Jan 2025).
Japanese style bath house available.
Last photo shows the 5 steps to lay the bedding in the room. Decent space and aircon is warm enough for winter period; though there’s no floor heating, they have a table with cloth around that you can use to keep your feet warm.
Amenities is 4/5 because they don’t allow you to use the shower for free after check out, but they still allow the use of kitchen, and toilet after check out.
Luggage deposit before check in and after check out is free as of Jan 2025.

JJin-chanHad a really great time staying here with friends. Very close to Lake Kawaguchi with a magnificent view of Mt. Fuji, if weather is ok, from Oo-Ishi Park. Some quaint cafes and restaurants are located within the park. The accommodation also has some kitchen utensils which are very convenient if you are planning to cook for dinner or breakfast. Would definitely book this cottage again if I am planning to stay again in the area with friends.

Nothing much around the area but it was a great place to relax and have our morning walk. Away from busy street. Great stay for big family with complete household items. Just on a side note that the washer does not come with dryer. Will be great if they have so we don't have damp smelling clothes.

There are convenience stores and supermarkets nearby. It is quite convenient. There is a kitchen for cooking. The scenery is very good under Mount Fuji.

JJING JOOThis place is definitely a 10/10! It’s a stone throw away from Kawaguchiko stn and ideal for us who wanted to have a short stay in mount fuji. We’re beyond grateful that host allowed us to check in way before the check in time at around 12 noon. There’s free parking right behind the house only. The room was so clean, tidy and well-equipped with cooking essentials. We had a balcony to enjoy the chill weather too! We’ll definitely be back again next time with another booking as we couldn’t catch a glimpse of mount fuji but that’s okay! The room makes it all perfect!

GGuest UserThe room is very big, and it will be no problem for 4 people. We stayed in Room 214, and there was Mount Fuji outside the window. It was a little far from Kawaguchiko Station, about a 10-minute walk? But no problem, it’s nice to take a look at each house’s yard along the way ~ You can also pass by the Initial D internet celebrity check-in point ~ The hotel is on the 2nd floor. It’s a little inconvenient to bring luggage. You have to go upstairs to enter 214. It’s suitable for those who haven’t yet. Buy, buy, buy suitcases~ Registration is all self-service. You can’t find information before 3 o’clock. We arrived 10 minutes early and we can get there as soon as we arrive. The bathroom is public and very clean, so don't worry. The open-air bath we went out for did not take up any resources. The most important thing is that it’s cheap, clean, and big!
