Kipphotel Syonan Fujisawa

First off, the information provided by the hotel was incorrect. Their website stated they had parking, but upon arrival, I was told they didn't. They directed me to a paid parking lot where you get charged every time you enter and exit, costing 1200 yen for a single day. They also said that if I left and came back, the fee would be even higher. On top of that, the room was a smoking room, and the entire place reeked of smoke – the pillows, the blankets, the sheets, everything. And to make matters worse, the air conditioning in our room rattled *all night long*, non-stop, until morning. It was incredibly noisy! Luckily, after complaining to Trip.com, their customer service coordinated with the hotel, and they agreed to switch us to a non-smoking room, finally ending that nightmare. We were already exhausted after just landing in Tokyo, and dealing with all this was truly draining both physically and mentally. I really hope the hotel can improve and provide accurate information, especially about parking. I specifically chose this hotel because of the promised parking. Anyone who's driven in Tokyo knows that parking and parking fees are huge headaches at night. If I had known their parking was paid, wouldn't it have been better to stay near Ofuna Station? Why stay in the middle of nowhere if not for free parking? I arrived with high hopes, only to be utterly disappointed.

The hotel's location is fantastic, just a 3-minute walk from Fujisawa Station. Plus, they offer free beer every day!

Terrible. Early in the morning, someone was banging on the door asking what time I'd be checking out. After I told them, they actually used a key to open my room door, even though it was double-locked?! Absolutely outrageous.

Excellent hotel! Japanese hotels are truly reliable. The hotel was very clean, and the soundproofing was fantastic – I didn't hear a peep from anywhere else. Plus, it even had a bathtub. The location was also very convenient.
